Defensive Coordinator Helicopter Hands Headlines Day 3 of the DNC

Maybe the regime media is onto something. Tim Walz is America's dad. He's a normie. He's the preferred white guy. He's the prototype of 21st Century Masculinity. I'm not seeing it.

I'm fairly confident that just about nobody reading this site will have watched anything except clips from Day Three of the Democratic National Convention, and even if they did see some clips, it's only for entertainment value only. That's where I come in.

It was a day chock full o'highlights if you happen to run a conservative talk show, podcast, and/or write columns. They'll get lost in the orgasmic reaction to Not Command Sergeant Major Walz' acceptance speech to capstone the night, but they nevertheless should be available for your consideration.

In the morning session, there were still some breakout meetings that were filmed, including the Democratic Party's Black Caucus. They've been given their marching orders. For the next 70 days, behave like the party bosses want them to behave. After that, then they can return to going crazy.

Amanda Gorman was given time to address the floor as the poet of the convention. I've never heard the poetry stylings of Ms. Gorman, nor do I wish to investigate after hearing this sampling.

Well, you at least have to admit that waxing poetic at a convention to coronate Comrade Kamala Harris, a poetic palindrome seems appropriate enough.

Colorado Jared Polis stepped up to the microphone and committed the 2024 version of former Republican candidate for Senate in Delaware in 2010, Christine O'Donnell. Remember her infamous ad declaring that, "I'm not a witch"? Polis kinda went there.

Fact check: False. Here's actress Mindy Kaling introducing Nancy Pelosi, the Ma Barker of Democratic politics.

Dragon breath, I'd believe. Our friend, Charles C.W. Cooke from National Review, noted that he couldn't stop reading the non-stop propaganda being offered by Politico on their X account. You could scroll down and drop the needle anywhere, and you'd be presented with the modern-day equivalent of a Seoul City Sue message. Here's just one example.

It begs the question, doesn't it? What exactly is the right white man? Here's MSNBC to explain it for you.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel had her moment on stage, stood at the edge of the straw man forest, and tossed in a match. Literally no one in the country is threatening to reverse same sex unions.

Former President William Jefferson Blythe Clinton was the top of the undercard Wednesday night, and used his 12th appearance at a Democratic National Convention to do what he's done in the 11 prior appearances - his personal Tinder session. I've been told that reliably by regime media that if you pronounce Kamala Harris' first name "Kama-la", with the accent on the la, you're a racist. Billy Jeff botched it every time during his address.

Finally, it was time for the main event. First, the video package.

They know it's wrong. The campaign has admitted it's wrong when pressed on Walz' stolen valor. Regime media types have tried to minimize it. Transportation Secretary, Pothole Pete Buttigieg, claimed he misspoke once on it, and it's no big deal. They've had three weeks to build this package for the convention, and they still refer to him by a rank he didn't achieve. Simultaneously in swing states, the Trump team dropped an ad hitting Walz on stolen valor, told by people with which Walz served.

Next, to help build the excitement further for Walz, members of his former football squad of which he was not the head coach, but a defensive coordinator. Check out the music playing them onto the stage.

A) I'm unaware that every member of Walz' team he assistant coached actually joined the Marines. B) The Marine Hymn seems an especially curious choice in the setup to bring out Command Master Sergeant Tim Walz of the United States Army National Guard. I guess to Democrats, Army, Marines - same thing.

Walz spoke for 20 minutes, and it was one breathtaking lie after another. Here are the most egregious moments. On education:

I'm very happily married to a public school teacher. I will never underestimate her. She's also not a Marxist who has destroyed the public education system in her state while serving as governor as Walz has.

On crime:

This from the man who literally blocked the National Guard from stopping the rioting and looting that was taking place, sitting at home with the Missus with the window open in order to catch the odiferous offerings of revolution wafting through the night.

On inflation:

The arsonist who set fire to your house also happens to be a firefighter, and is on her way if you fund her department.

On taxes:

No one believes this. She's going to let the Trump tax cuts expire. She's going to raise the corporate tax rate. She's going to push for a wealth tax. This is just a lie, pure and simple. But your eyes will bug out with the last one.

On the border:

They're not even trying to talk straight with the American people. Tim Walz wouldn't recognize the truth if it was a safety blitz thrown at him on 3rd down and long.

In the three days of convention heading into tonight's speech by Comrade Kamala, an interesting dynamic has been happening in polling. The bounce Democrats hoped to receive from both the convention and overwhelmingly gushing regime media coverage, has not developed. In fact, if you look at swing state polling at Real Clear Politics, Harris still leads in Michigan and Wisconsin overall, but outside of North Carolina, every other swing state - Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, all the direction in the most recent polls is in Trump's direction. The average movement towards Trump during the convention has been around 3 points. Rasmussen polling thinks we've already reached peak Kamala and the slide has already begun. We'll see, but one other factor might fan the flames of the Harris dumpster fire.

Robert F. Kenndy, Jr. announced he's going to conduct a press conference and make a statement on Friday, the morning after Kamala's big speech. According to widespread reports, he's decided to drop his independent presidential bid and is going to endorse Donald Trump. Here's a clip of his vice presidential candidate, Nicole Shanahan, intimating as much.

Currently, RFK, Jr. is polling around 5%. Big deal, right? Let's say worst case scenario for Republicans, 3 out of 5 RFK voters move to Trump. 2 out of 5 go to Kamala. That's a 1% gain for Trump. In 2020, 155 million votes were cast in this country for president. The election was decided by a margin of 43,000 votes between Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Think 1% of 155 million, or 1.55 million net additional votes for Trump might be decisive?

Let's say it's best case scenario for Trump, and the RFK vote splits 4-1 for Trump. That's a net of 3% of presidential voters for Trump, or 3.1 million votes, again using 2020 as a baseline. At the very least, the timing of the RFK withdrawal and endorsement should level off any bounce Kamala hopes for tonight.

Then, it's the time for each side to hammer the other in rallies and interviews leading up to the debates. Except only one side is doing interviews. It's an untenable position the Democrats are in. It still may yet win, but I wouldn't put place a very large bet.
