Kamala Harris' Silence On Hezbollah Attack Is Complicity

Last week, amidst a torrent of news on the presidential campaign front, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of Congress and gave a remarkable address. In a sane world, his speech would unite the entire West against the radical elements that threaten not just Israel's existence, but also freedom-loving democracies across the globe. As he was speaking from the well of the House, the Liberty Bell statue in Washington, D.C. was graffitied with, "Hamas Is Comin'."

After his address, Netanyahu met privately with Used-To-Be-President Joe Biden, and then with Border Czar Kamala Harris before traveling to Florida to meet with former President Donald Trump.

Border Czar Harris, upon the conclusion of the meeting with Netanyahu, gave aid and comfort to the radical Islamic terrorist forces allied against our greatest ally in the Middle East, calling for an immediate ceasefire and scolding Bibi to "just get the deal done." One day later, Hezbollah murdered 11 Druze children in a rocket attack. They didn't just murder them, mind you, authorities at the scene are still combing the area for limbs, or parts of limbs, of the victims that were strewn everywhere.

Margaret Brennan, host of Face the Nation when she's not busy campaigning for Border Czar Harris, took to X over the weekend with her own version of an 'I told you so' post before all the remains of the dead children were even recovered.

As for the principals, the juxtaposition between the two parties just in their reaction to the horror in Northern Israel is about as stark as it gets. Donald Trump and J.D. Vance were in St. Cloud, Minnesota at a rally. Here's what Trump had to say.

His running mate, J.D. Vance, was also at that rally, and began his remarks by commenting on the horror over the weekend.

It wasn't the only appearance by the former President over the weekend, and wasn't the only comments about the attack he made. In Nashville at the Bitcoin '24 conference, Trump said this.

Now how does that contrast with what Border Czar Kamala Harris has said about the attacks? First, for background, when the antisemitic protest resulted in some of the more vile and disgusting Jew-hating imagery possible just down the street from the White House and the Congress, Harris waited an entire day to issue a carefully-worded statement decrying the antisemitism, but not calling for any criminal prosecution of those who engaged in the hate crimes. And this delayed statement came while her colleagues at DOJ and the District of Columbia were busy dropping the charges and releasing the perpetrators. So she has a track record of pausing before reacting...unless, of course, it's J6. In that scenario, there's no delay whatsoever.

The Saturday attack that struck a children's park where a soccer game was underway, Friday night Washington time, was claimed immediately by Hezbollah. When it turned out it was all Druze kids that were blown up, Hezbollah began to walk back the claim of responsibility, but it was too late. The whole world knows it was Hezbollah, and the whole world knows it was an Iranian missile that they used. As of Monday morning, more than two days later, here is the official response of Border Czar Kamala Harris.

Nothing. Nada. Bupkis. Now perhaps Border Czar Harris is too busy chasing down pro-abortion voters to be bothered by an escalation of the war against Israel literally a day after she weighed in. Remember, she tried to throw her stern voice on the October 23rd, 2023 edition of 60 Minutes with Bill Whittaker. This was just two weeks after the October 7th attack on Southern Israel, and on the prospects of escalation then by Iranian-backed radical Islamic terrorists, Harris said this.

It took her two weeks to say, "Don't," and of course, the radical Islamic terrorist world laughed at her and continued the attacks on Israel.

We haven't even gotten a 'don't' this time as of yet, but we have some indication from Axios as to how the administration of which she is still allegedly an active partner, if Karine Jean-Pierre and Joe Biden are to be believed, is pressuring, checks notes, Israel not to respond.

The Biden administration warned Israel if it hits Hezbollah targets in Beirut in response to a deadly strike on the Golan Heights on Saturday "the situation would likely spiral out of control," according to one Israeli official and one U.S. official.

Why it matters: The Israeli security cabinet convened on Sunday to discuss the military response to the rocket attack that killed 12 children and teenagers, including an option to conduct strikes in Lebanon's capital, Israeli officials said.

Israel blamed Saturday's deadly strike on Hezbollah and U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, said it is the U.S. assessment that Hezbollah fired the rocket. Hezbollah denied responsibility.

Jack Lew, Barack Obama's chief of staff and Treasury Secretary, and currently serving as Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris' U.S. Ambassador to Israel, at least reacted to the attack, something that Border Czar Harris has yet to do.

Whom exactly do we condemn, Ambassador Lew? From where did the missile originate? What, pray tell, could explain the motivation behind this attack and how it became financially possible to get Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon into a position to launch the attack?

Back to the AWOL Border Czar Kamala Harris. Last week, after meeting privately with Benjamin Netanyahu before publicly scolding him like a bratty teenager, she made this claim.

She will not be silent, except for now, two days after the attack, when she's silent. So what are we to extrapolate from her silence? Well, according to Border Czar Kamala Harris, we're to assume that silence is complicity. Going back to June, 2020, in the wake of the George Floyd riots that swept the country, riots that Border Czar Harris heartily defended and approved, she gave an interview to Cosmopolitan Magazine.

It is the duty of every American to fix. No longer can some wait on the sidelines, hoping for incremental change. In times like this, silence is complicity.

In March, 2021, Joe Biden and Border Czar Harris visited Atlanta in the aftermath of a deadly racial attack that left eight people dead, including six women of Asian descent. Anyone care to guess as to the theme of the Biden-Border Czar Harris message of hope and healing?

Delivering remarks on Friday evening at Emory University after a day spent meeting with Asian American community leaders and politicians, the president and vice-president spoke out forcefully against the shooting, in which six of the victims were women of Asian descent, as well as the rise in anti-Asian violence.

“Hate can have no safe harbor in America,” Biden said, calling on Americans to stand up to bigotry when they see it. “Our silence is complicity. We cannot be complicit.”

Just in case you want to jump in to defend Border Czar Harris because it was actually Joe Biden that offered the 'silence is complicity' line, Border Czar Harris had her turn at the podium as well.

“The president and I will not be silent. We will not stand by. We will always speak out against violence, hate crimes and discrimination, wherever and whenever it occurs.

60 hours have transpired since the murder of these kids.

Kamala Harris has yet to make any remarks. Her campaign has yet to offer even a paper statement. At least Joe Biden offered a paper statement saying he wasn't going to run for re-election, and he's the guy in the Monty Python sketch trying not to go onto the cart.

You might be asking yourself why Border Czar Harris hasn't made any kind of statement to date. Well, the answer is easy enough. First, she's hostile to the state of Israel, and is campaigning for votes from the wing of the Democratic base that is equally hostile to the state of Israel. Second, she's about as vapid on the fly as anyone that's ever run for national office. Take this little exchange a few months ago as an example.

Border Czar Harris was conducting a quick media presser inside a hanger at Andrews Air Force Base, and was asked by a member of the media whether she was going to work with Republicans in Congress on a border security bill. Her available answers were pretty straightforward - yes, I will work with them, no, I won't work with them, or time will tell whether I work with them. All of them, of course, undergird the fact that she was, in fact, the Border Czar. Here's what you got instead.

Of course, she said absolutely nothing, and it took nearly a minute for her to say nothing. She's not smart to begin with, she's not good on her feet, and her political instincts are garbage.

She's not 120-years old, and she's not going through cognitive decline, so the entire Democratic apparatus, including the regime media, are clinging to her like Rose did to the floating door in Titanic. But beyond the smokescreen of coronation, this is the same regime media that came to the same conclusions about the capabilities of Border Czar Harris that you and I have.

When the dust settles, the one fact Border Czar Harris can't change will remain. Everything you didn't like about the Biden-Harris presidency, Border Czar Harris will only push it further to the left and promise it as change. That's not what the majority of voters want. They've seen enough of empty rhetoric, and they've seen plenty enough of policies that are leading to the ruination of the country.
