Welcome to our VIP feature for Hot Air as well as a members-only show in the Hughniverse! Duane Patterson and I now are doing a Week in Review show for Friday evenings, exclusive to members in both platforms. Duane has been the Generalissimo behind the Hugh Hewitt Show for more than two decades, and we have partnered on weekly commentary since 2007.

What stories topped your priority lists this week? The DSA's potential high-water mark this week captured our attention, both in the Wisconsin primary and in a new poll out of Michigan. But it's not just the numbers that matter in either place, or in Texas and other states as well. I argue that a recent video from Abdul El-Sayed and practically everything Francesca Hong has ever said exposes the infantilization that characterizes Marxists and their ideology, and connects directly with their appeal to authoritarianism.

The problem with the DSA's Children's Crusade will become apparent, we discuss, in statewide elections. Polling has largely missed this because pollsters seem to be weighting their results to make socialist candidates look inevitable, and got exposed for that effort, especially in Michigan. However, a new poll from that state shows El-Sayed in deep trouble already when he should be cresting against Mike Rogers. We explain why, and why that also matters in Texas.

As a final topic, we ask when the WNBA will finally decide what the W actually means. The over-under is Thanksgiving, and we explain why the next WNBA draft could possibly be its last.

Be sure to watch it all, and extend the conversation in the comments!
