Remember during the campaign when critics claimed Donald Trump couldn't possibly deliver on his promises on deportations? Or when the Protection Racket Media rallied behind Kamala Harris' claim that she and Joe Biden couldn't enforce border security because Trump killed a comprehensive immigration bill in 2013?
It's Day Four of the Trump administration, and he's already proven his opponents wrong. Late last night, press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the arrest of hundreds more illegal aliens and the start of military deportation flights for hundreds more:
The Trump Administration also deported hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals via military aircraft.

The largest massive deportation operation in history is well underway.
Promises made. Promises kept.
Those arrests, by the way, are just the number from Thursday. Last night, Tom Homan appeared on NewsNight and announced the total had come to over 1300:
🚨NEW: Tom Homan reveals that ICE has already made 1300 arrests during deportation operations:

The military flight claims are also new, and point out just how serious the Trump administration and the newly empowered rank and file at ICE are about fulfilling Trump's promise. Speaking of which, that seriousness has had a salutary impact on politicians, too. As our colleagues at Twitchy point out, Massachusetts governor Maura Healey pledged a couple of months ago to remain defiant as a "sanctuary" for illegal aliens. After a publicized roundup of known violent illegal aliens in Boston, Healy sounds a lot less defiant.
That was then:
Massachusetts Governor says she will use ‘executive power’ to stop Trump from deporting criminal aliens

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey addressed the arrests, saying she wouldn't be quick to call them "raids."
"I wouldn't describe them as raids," Healey said."What it seems to be, and what we expected and what I support, which is the apprehension of criminals in our communities."
Healey said she supports arresting criminals — whether they are undocumented or not.
I'll bet she does ... now. Her newfound enthusiasm for the rule of law likely has to do with the memo sent out by Acting Deputy AG Emil Bove to Department of Justice prosecutors requiring them to charge officials who obstruct ICE enforcement of immigration laws. That no doubt includes Healey, but perhaps more so her underlings who would get trapped between her "sanctuary" policies and criminal obstruction.
Healey's response is a transparent dodge, too. If she supported arresting criminals regardless of immigration status, then why were these criminals still at large? Why are Massachusetts law-enforcement agencies ignoring ICE detainers when arresting these criminals? Healey won't answer those questions, but it's easy to see why Healey is backpedaling now. It's because Trump means business this time.
So do the American people. I already quoted Nellie Bowles at the Free Press once today, but she hit the nail on the head about the political paradigm shift in the electorate:
Yes: 55 percent of Americans want all illegal immigrants deported. That is millions of people, many of whom have been here for decades, rounded up in an unprecedented population shift. This used to be considered an extremely radical position.
It turns out that Joe Biden’s immigration policy was so unhinged, it made even normie liberals flip. Joe Biden’s open border policy—and the gaslighting his supporters performed to pretend there was no policy shift—drove America en masse, like a migrant surge, to want extremely hardcore border control.
Not just Joe Biden's immigration policy, but Democrat immigration policy. The party went all-in on open borders over the last 20 years and refused to budge on amnesty and wide-open asylum policies. They are reaping the consequences for that disastrous policy, especially relating to official attempts to provide "sanctuary" to violent gang members.
It turns out that all it takes to enforce existing immigration law, deport illegals, and get violent criminals out of the United States is having the will to do it. And Democrats don't have it. At all.
In honor of Beantown, let's recall this line from Jon Hamm from the film The Town. The clip can't be embedded because of its NSFW-Language status, but it fits perfectly. Healey and other Democrats refused to recognize that the criminals that they allowed to flood our cities weren't f*****g around, and it's about to go both ways now.
