BREAKING: Biden Reneges on No-Pardon Pledge for Hunter

Remember this from June? While Joe Biden was still the Democrat nominee, ABC’s David Muir asked him whether he would accept a jury verdict in Hunter Biden’s trial. When Biden muttered “yes,” Muir then asked whether Biden had ruled out a pardon in case of conviction, and got the same monosyllabic answer:

All one has to know in this case is that Joe Biden is twenty pounds of bull**** in a ten-pound bag. How do you know Biden’s lying? His lips are moving. Literally no one believed that he’d allow his son to face the consequences of his own actions, and Biden proved everyone right tonight:

"I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice — and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision," Biden said in a statement.

Hunter Biden is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 12 for his conviction on federal gun charges. He also is set to be sentenced on Dec. 16 in a separate criminal case in which he pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion charges in September.

The pardon is expected to cover both his gun charges conviction and his guilty plea.

Politics did infect this process, but not in the manner that Biden claims. The first attempt by the Department of Justice to dispense with Hunter’s case resulted in a plea deal that was so corrupt that the federal judge refused to accept it. The special counsel dragged out the investigation long enough to have potential tax-evasion charges mooted by the statute of limitations. The DoJ prosecutes tax cheats and gun-law violators with much more enthusiasm than they did with the son of the sitting president.

If Hunter’s last name wasn’t Biden, he’d have already been serving time in prison.

For months, however, Biden insisted that he wouldn’t pardon Hunter and would respect the decision of the jury. The White House repeated that ad infinitum, insisting that even asking the question was tiresome and illegitimate. Why did people keep asking the question? Because the Bidens are corrupt, and everyone knew that Biden would eventually bail out Biden Inc in the end.

We’ll probably have more to say about this in the next couple of days. I’ll be on vacation this week, but  allow me to just point out once again that Biden lied, that Biden does nothing but lie, and especially when it comes to the family influence-peddling business. Joe Biden may be twenty pounds of bull**** in a ten-pound bag, but that’s hardly the biggest problem of his long and corrupt career in Washington.
