Gee, with media scrutiny this tough, Kamala Harris better be worried! That is, she might have to measure the drapes earlier than expected. 

Steve Krakauer makes a good point about how brazen the Protection Racket Media has become in circling the wagons around the Anointed (via Twitchy):

Indeed. And it's not just NBC News or O'Donnell getting so shameless about their cheerleading. Take a look at Politico, for instance, where its headlines are:

That last one is worth a longer comment:

Less than two months since Joe Biden’s politically fatal debate, barely more than a month since he decided to drop out and endorse her — after a failed presidential bid of her own in 2020, after an uneven few years as Biden’s vice president — could Harris really be more than an emergency alternative but actually a transformative figure who shifts the political order for more than an election cycle or two?

“I think she already is,” Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland told me Wednesday morning after he spoke to Georgia delegates at their breakfast. “I think what we’re seeing right now is not just about a political campaign. I think what we’re seeing right now is the American people have a choice about what type of country that we want to be. That,” he said, “is a movement.”

No ... that is an attempt at building a cult. Harris doesn't even have a policy agenda to offer at the moment, not even a single page on her campaign website. She won't hold press conferences or allow in-depth interviews with reporters to explain what this "movement" is about. She's running an Obama-style cult campaign, only without Barack Obama's substance or rhetorical skills.

And yet the Protection Racket Media will still amplify the propaganda in contradiction to reality. 

And at the same time, they will mercilessly deploy their "fact" checkers and "disinformation" analysts against anyone who dares to point out that the Anointed Emperor's new clothes are just as fake as the Old Emperor's were. They will use those attacks on dissent and debate to push advertisers to abandon independent platforms, and Big Tech will use them to suppress content that points out the failures of the progressive leadership clique.

Not to mention the fact that the progressive clique is literally selling a nothingburger as a movement.
