Why is the media protecting Democrats rather than protecting democracy? Double standards abound when politics meet the justice system, Adam Baldwin and I agree, especially when it comes to Biden Inc. “Will an IRS whistle blower bring down Hunter Biden?”Adam asks, quoting Jazz. “Well, you know, that’s up in the air. Depends on how the prosecution goes,” or if it goes at all. And you’d never know much about the whistleblower from the mainstream media either.

Welcome back to our VIP video series “The Amiable Skeptics,” featuring my friend Adam Baldwin! Adam is well-known for his long and storied Hollywood career, starting with My Bodyguard, and especially for his roles in Full Metal Jacket, Firefly, its film sequel Serenity, Chuck, and The Last Ship.
The media’s lack of curiosity is itself very, very curious, as Adam continues. “What services did Hunter Biden offer to earn that kind of money? From China, from Ukraine, from Russia. And where did it go once he received it?” More to the point, Adam wonders, “How much, if any, wound up in the pockets of the big guy? And did the big guy report that money on his own tax returns? … How did a lifelong public servant, Joe Biden, on a couple hundred grand a year salary and a uh, community college teacher, how do they afford three or four, waterfront homes? How do they do that? Well, and how compromised are they? ”
Those are questions one would have expected the media to ask since Biden’s second run as VP, when this first began spilling into public view. The New York Post’s exposé of materials on Hunter’s laptop would have generated overwhelming interest from the media if the Bidens were Republicans. Instead, I point out that the media buried the story and “rallied around Joe Biden,” because “they absolutely hated Donald Trump. They loved him in 2016 because he was a great story,” I continue, “but the time 2020 rolls around, everybody in the media hates Donald Trump and they rally around the Bidens at the last minute.”
But it’s not just the media — it’s also the justice system itself. While the DoJ is busy prosecuting J6 rioters, they’re not bothering to enforce the law when it comes to demonstrations at the homes of federal judges. In fact, they’re not prosecuting rioters whose politics they like, as we found out in one recent case. “They got one guy literally red handed attacking a Catholic church, assaulting one of the people that worked at the Catholic Church, and then smashing up a police car while he was resisting arrest,” I point out. Apparently because the perp was a transgender pro-abortion activist, “they decided not to prosecute guy. Decided to put him in some sort of diversion program while they’re still prosecuting all these others.”
What about the still-suppressed Nashville manifesto? The perp in that case is dead, so there’s no need to withhold it for the purpose of avoiding influence on a jury pool. If this had been a far-right manifesto, does anyone doubt that the DoJ would have released it immediately?
We discuss plenty more in this episode, including a couple of fun diversions, so be sure to watch it all — and join the conversation in the comments!
