Today's hot topics at Hot Air at the Fair: Ellison scandal, MN midterms, election annulment, Kavanaugh hearing, and more!

The Minnesota State Fair returns to the Fairgrounds, and so does Hot Air at the Fair! All this week, local Salem Radio affiliate AM 1280 The Patriot will have me on the air from 2-4 pm CT, talking both national and local politics. We also will simulcast the show through Facebook Live. (Please note: the microphones are muted during the commercial breaks.)

Today’s show at the Great Minnesota Get-Together will discuss:

  • The NYT has taken a significant interest in the Keith Ellison scandal. What does that mean for the DFL, and for Doug Wardlow, Republican nominee for Minnesota Attorney General?
  • What else do you need to know about the upcoming midterms in Minnesota? We’ll talk with Carleton’s professor emeritus Steven Schier to find out.
  • What’s going on in the rest of the country? We’ll discuss all the latest with Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson, especially the proposal to “annul” the Trump presidency, John McCain’s memorial service, House Democrat plans if they regain control of the lower chamber, Brett Kavanaugh, and much much more!

Call in to join us at 651-289-4488! Be sure to listen on The Patriot’s on-line stream if you’re outside the broadcast area. We’ll also stream Facebook Live to present the show from the booth (although with booth audio rather than network audio), and will embed each hour in this post. (If it’s muted, right-click the video and choose Unmute.) Join the fun!
