Steven Crowder gives us a look at UFC powerhouse Gracie Jiu-jitsu, not so much as a look at the mixed martial arts industry but at industry in the American free market in general. The Gracies moved to the US because they saw an opportunity to change the direction of martial-arts training, based on their own modifications, and built an empire that is still expanding to this day. Another friend of mine, Bill Whittle, spoke last night here in Minneapolis about the reality of wealth creation, where ideas and energy combine to form wealth that didn’t exist before. The Gracies are a great demonstration of that concept in action.

And heck, even if that message doesn’t get your blood pumping as it does mine, you can at least enjoy watching Steven get his butt kicked for a full minute toward the end of the video. For my money, that’s a bargain. Go Rener!
