NARN, the Home Wisconsin Edition! Update: Search for Marizela in Seattle today

The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with your hosts Mitch Berg and Ed Morrissey, on from 1-3 CT with live streaming video and chat. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area, as well as right here on on the permanent Ed Morrissey Show page at Hot Air.

Today, Mitch and I will discuss the ignominious end of the Fleebagging phenomenon, but that won’t stop us from rolling just one more song parody.  Which song will Mitch, Tommy, and I butcher this week?  Join us and find out!  We’ll also talk about the budget battles in Washington and in St Paul, and much much more.

Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation! You can also register for free at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.)

We’ll also discuss the case of Marizela Perez, who has been missing in the Seattle area since Saturday afternoon. Marizela’s case has a connection here at Hot Air, as she is the cousin of the Boss Emeritus, Michelle Malkin. Michelle is trying to spread the word through Facebook and Q13Fox/KCPQ in Seattle.  We want to encourage prayers for Marizela’s family, and also try to reach anyone in the area who knows where Marizela might be and ask them to contact the police.  Michelle also has this entry yesterday, along with a new flyer from the police:

Apart from the Seattle Police Missing Persons Bureau at             206-684-5582      , please contact if you have any information regarding Marizela:

Edgar:             609 – 646 – 0905

Jasmin:             609 – 742 – 2360

Mel:             206 – 760 – 1822

Let’s bring Marizela home as soon as possible.

Update: Marizela’s family is organizing a search in Seattle today, starting at the place she was last seen:

Tomorrow, Saturday March 12, our family will be joining from all over the country to look for missing 18-year-old UW student Marizela Perez.

The full search party will meet at 11:30am tomorrow at the Safeway where she was last seen last Saturday afternoon and spread out across the University District and surrounding areas.

Many dear old friends from my days in Seattle have answered the call. I’m asking for as many boots on the ground as possible, especially Seattle-area readers familiar with Ravenna Park, Cowen Park, and adjacent neighborhoods.

The search for Marizela has its own Facebook page, so be sure to check for updates.  Any Seattle-area NARN listeners should dump us for today and join the search.  Let’s suit up and bring Marizela home.
