Video: Crowder on the "big oil" distraction

Steven Crowder’s back, and Fox’s Red Eye has him! Earlier this week, Steven scoffed at the “big oil” card being played on the Left as the crisis in the Gulf unfolds. The problem is not “big oil,” or at least not at the moment, nor who is in the pockets of the oil industry. Considering that Barack Obama himself took almost a million dollars from BP, and that Democrats partnered closely with BP on their cap-and-trade effort, that kind of attack is going nowhere anyway. Its only value is as a distraction from the failure thus far of the Obama administration to get a grip on the spill:

Unfortunately, Paul McCartney didn’t get the message, and instead offered a Holocaust-denial smear to climate-change skeptics:

THE shocking images of oil-covered wildlife and ruined beaches across the Gulf of Mexico have horrified millions.

But passionate green campaigner Sir Paul McCartney believes the environmental disaster may have a silver lining, with the search for clean, renewable energy now being pushed forward.

The Beatles legend said: “Sadly we need disasters like this to show people. Some people don’t believe in climate warming – like those who don’t believe there was a Holocaust.

“But the facts indicate that there’s something going on and we’ve got to be aware of it if we want our kids to inherit a decent world, not a complete nightmare of a planet – clean, renewable energy is for starters.”

We know the Holocaust took place because of eyewitness testimony, records kept by the Nazis, and an overwhelming amount of evidence at the camps. We don’t rely on computer models that continually fail to deliver accurate predictions and unscientific conjecture to establish the fact of the Holocaust. And we don’t “need disasters like this” to show people anything except that (a) exploration is risky, and (b) it would be a lot less risky on land and in shallower water if the American government would allow it.
