The Ed Morrissey Show: Jim Geraghty, Sean Mahoney

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we welcome back Jim Geraghty of National Review’s Campaign Spot to analyze last night’s election results.  Did Tim Burns fall victim to a quirk of scheduling in last night’s special election, or did Democrats manage to hold onto a heavily Democratic district without its incumbent being an issue?  Does the loss mean a rethinking of gains for Republicans in the midterms, and can Burns beat Critz in a rematch?  Plus, we’ll talk about results from Kentucky and Arkansas, too.

In the second half of the show, Sean Mahoney joins us for the first time since announcing his bid for the GOP nomination to run against Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH).  Mahoney hits Shea-Porter on a site called “LOL Carol,” which asks visitors to select the most laughable career moment of the incumbent from four options.  We’ll talk about those, as well as polls that show Shea-Porter very vulnerable in this cycle.  Plus, Sean has been first out of the gate among Republicans with these TV and radio ads:
