Short but, er, extremely sour from MS-NBC’s new leading intellectual light. Honestly, though, this is Ed Schultz. Even on the radio, Schultz gets lunatic.  The difference between that and this is that we get to see his face as he flips his lid, accusing Republicans of enjoying it when people die.  No, seriously:

Hold it right there!  The Republicans lie.  They want to see you dead!  They’d rather make money off your dead corpse!  They kinda like it when that woman has cancer and they don’t have anything for her!

The best thing about an Ed Schultz clip?  We get to use exclamation points.  If you thought Keith Olbermann was the embodiment of Howard Beale, Schultz makes Olbermann look like Charlie Rose or Jim Lehrer in comparison.  Even the late Billy Mays didn’t work this hard at his pitch.

As far as the substance of the clip goes — what little there is — I seem to recall that Republicans wanted to abolish the death tax, and Democrats objected.  Which party wants to make money off of your dead corpse?
