I’m getting up early today to take part in the official commemoration of Patriot Day, the observance established by President George W. Bush and Congress for the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11.  Assuming the weather stays decent, I will emcee the event for our local radio station, AM 1280 The Patriot, home of our Saturday NARN talk shows.  The ceremony will take place at the state capitol, will have a number of speakers, and will feature a flyover by the 934th Airlift Wing.
