Video: Thriller strikes again?

I guess we should be thankful that the Michael Jackson hysteria hasn’t gone Elvis on us, with people insisting for decades that they saw The King at diners and truck stops and building grand conspiracy theories about faking his death. People seem to have accepted that Jackson actually died. Now, however, they’re claiming all sorts of other appearances … or should I say apparitions?

What’s more frightening — the thought of MJ haunting Neverland, or the fact that CNN devoted prime-time political real estate to a tour of the mansion? Isn’t that Robin Leach’s territory?

I’m not buying this as anything more than an artifact of lighting and reflections off of the lens and glass windows all around this shot, for one simple reason. Had it really been the ghost of MJ, he would have done something a little more entertaining than run across a doorframe.

On the other hand, tree stump sightings could be more interesting … or just more insane.
