Maybe the catchiest satirical song you’ve heard since Mary Katharine Ham and her brother Jon teamed up on “Obama on Your Shoulder,” and just as biting. The Tax Foundation offers this didactic ditty to explain exactly who benefits from the cap-and-trade system that the House barely passed a week ago. It’s not the environment, and it’s certainly not the poor. It’s that guy in the tall hat:

Someone’s going green, all right. Congress wants to skim off the top of the energy industry to fund its pet projects, and keep on picking winners and losers just like they did in the housing industry.
