It's Getting Impossible to Deport Anybody in the UK

There's a bit of a deportation lottery in the UK. If the miscreants who are up for deportation are unlucky, they might face a judge who hasn't swallowed the transnationalist brew that gets served to the elites in Britain. But that's sorta like getting struck by lightning; it really sucks if it happens, but it rarely does.

For the most part, all one has to do to avoid deportation is fabricate a sob story, claim racism, or pull the ever-popular "I'm gay" card. Once you do that, you're back on the streets.

The latest of far too many cases involves a Jamaican — who of course is granted anonymity — who raped his wife and a juvenile and was thankfully incarcerated for his crimes. He is still considered dangerous, but now that he calls himself bisexual, the courts have ruled that his human rights would be violated if sent back to Jamaica.

A migrant jailed for two rapes and deemed a “risk to children” has won a case to stay in Britain because he is bisexual.

The Jamaican migrant, 51, was convicted of raping two women in Britain and was jailed for 18 years, but cannot be deported because it would violate his rights under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

An immigration judge said “there is nothing positive to say about his presence in the UK” and that deporting him is in the public interest, but had to allow the migrant’s appeal against deportation under Article 3 of the ECHR.

Under Article 3, it was ruled that the migrant – who claims he is a famous musician in Jamaica – cannot be deported to his home country because his sexuality places him at risk of harm.

Article 3 of the ECHR states “no one shall be subjected to torture” and that protection is absolute, meaning that the migrant’s criminality does not matter when determining an appeal.

Uh, wut?

This is the sort of thing that strains credulity, but it is actually quite common in the UK and Europe. Being a migrant can be a "get out of jail free card" in many cases, and in almost every case it is almost a sure bet that you get to stay even if you are sent to jail.

There's not even a pretense that public safety is a consideration. It's almost as if the mere act of crossing the border illegally immunizes one from almost any consequence. And even when you face some consequences, you still get to stay because, well, the native population counts less than you do.

It's yet another example of suicidal empathy, where human rights appeals, even based on the slimmest of excuses, will trump all other considerations. There is a presumption that people left their home country because it sucks, and Britain sucks less, so obviously they belong there.

Has anyone considered why the home country sucked? Could it be that behavior like this is more common, and you are just importing it?

This is insanity, and the insanity is baked into the European Convention on Human Rights.

Which gets to the larger point. I support the concept of universal human rights, but in practice, each country's implementation can only be enforced within its own borders. The UK can't enforce human rights in other countries, and while it can grant asylum to help people escape abuse, you can't make protecting someone's human rights the sole basis for your decision-making.

Ultimately, a government exists to protect it's borders and its citizens, not take care of every person in the world.

Transnationalists view that idea as nativist and immoral. What makes your own citizens so special? Why do they get first call on our resources and our care?

Simple: that is your job. It's the same reason why we recoiled when Nicole Hannah-Jones tried that same logic on her daughter, explaining why she didn't deserve any privilege just because she was born to a privileged mom. What makes her special?

She's your daughter; that's why. Charity begins at home. The same principle applies here.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
