Spanish Government Legalizes 500,000 Illegal Aliens to 'Defeat the Far Right'

It is a conspiracy theory that the left has opened its borders to change the political landscape within Western countries.

If you believe that, you are a nutter who has gone down the rabbit hole. A crazy. A Far-Right fascist Nazi who needs to be silenced for spreading "misinformation."

In fact, it is SO SO VERY IMPORTANT that you be proven wrong and put in your place that, according to the ruling Socialists in Spain, the government is going to "regularize" and give legal work permits, one-year renewable residency permits, and the right to travel unhindered through the Schengen Zone (the European Union and a few other countries).

It's the only way to defeat the Far Right.

The Spanish government and its partners openly state that the reason for legalising more than half a million migrants is to "defeat the far right." This is literally weaponised demography. They took the most conspiratorial interpretation of the "Great Replacement" that is not even shared by most far right parties, namely it being a coordinated elite plan to reduce the native European share of the population, and actually turned it into policy - while also bypassing parliament, I might add.

Spain is ruled by a minority Socialist coalition government that has been losing support to the conservative parties, and they have decided the best way to fight back is...legalize illegal aliens. Literally. They say exactly that.

It's almost as if the "Great Replacement Theory" is real.

Spain has started to legalise 500,000 undocumented migrants and give them the immediate right to work in a move “to fight against the advance of the far-Right”.

Madrid officially began the process on Tuesday after a last-minute deal between the ruling Socialist party and the Left-wing Podemos party, which has propped up Pedro Sanchez’s minority government since elections in 2023.

A government spokesman said: “We not only intend to remain a beacon, but I want to believe that we will be a seed and a germ to fight against the advance of this far-Right wave that is trying to gain ground, and against which we will do everything in our power to stop it.”

Podemos said the legislation would help dismantle “institutional racism that only fuels exploitation and racist hatred”, while the government cast the move as a political challenge to the Right-wing Vox party, which has been steadily rising in the polls.

Technically, normalization of the illegal immigrants and granting them work permits (without which they have been working anyway, to the great pride of the government, which does not enforce the law) does not automatically grant the right to vote in national elections, although it does allow them to vote in many local elections. But what it most certainly does is create a massive pressure group in the country that can directly impact local elections and wield considerable power and political heft.

"We not only intend to remain a beacon, but I want to believe that we will be a seed and a germ to fight against the advance of this far-Right wave that is trying to gain ground, and against which we will do everything in our power to stop it.”

Spain just legalized 500,000 illegal aliens to “defeat the far-right.”

It’s not even a secret anymore. By legalizing 500,000 illegals under the guise of defeating the far-right, Pedro Sánchez is essentially dropping the mask. This is electoral engineering.

The logic is simple: legalize half a million people, fast-track them to citizenship (which takes as little as two years for many), and you’ve effectively imported a massive, loyal voting bloc that’s indebted to the left.

On top of it all, the Spanish government is doing all this without any parliamentary debate or approval. Another Biden x2 move. Simply ignore the laws and the will of the majority to change the political landscape and rewrite the rules, as is happening here.

Opening travel within the Schengen Zone enables free movement. Again, the right to work in Spain does not guarantee the right to work in other countries, but that is mostly a technicality in the current environment, and it will enable easier access to social insurance programs both in Spain and other European countries.

Think of this as Joe Biden's border policy x3, with the added benefit of flooding the EU.

Under the scheme, undocumented immigrants, asylum seekers, or those who have been living in Spain for more than five months by Dec 31 2025, will be eligible to apply for legal status between the beginning of April and June 30 this year. Applicants with criminal records will be excluded.

Applications will be assessed within 15 days, after which successful candidates will be allowed to work “in any sector and anywhere” in Spain, according to Elma Saiz, the migration minister.

Santiago Abascal, the leader of Vox, accused the prime minister of seeking to “replace” the Spanish population through mass migration.

Gee, I wonder where he got that idea? The move is to weaken the "Far-Right," fight "institutional racism" (read: preference for Spanish citizens over migrants from abroad who came illegally).

Spain’s immigration policy has increasingly differed from that of its European neighbours, as countries including the United Kingdom, Denmark and Germany have announced tighter restrictions and crackdowns on asylum applications.

The southern European nation has taken in millions of migrants in recent years, many of whom entered the country illegally. One of the most active routes runs from West Africa to Spain’s Canary Islands, with tens of thousands attempting the perilous 1,250-mile Atlantic crossing every year.

The wonder is that they can say out loud, "We will replace you with a population more friendly to us," and then get away with claiming The Great Replacement Theory is a wacko conspiracy theory.

Of course, in America, Democrats can crow that the "browning of America" through immigration gives them a demographic lock on the electorate and simultaneously claim that they aren't importing voters and get away with it, so perhaps they are right to be confident.

Even The Telegraph, a center-right news source, can't break out of the "Far-Right" framing for people who object to this. Socialists say they want to crush ordinary Spanish citizens by weakening their political power, and when Spanish citizens object they are somehow "Far-Right."

How about just "rational?"

Another irony: as with the Muslim invasion and ruling of Spain before the Reconquista, this is another colonization of Spanish territory, justified on the basis that Spain is colonialist. "It's our turn to be colonized, as long as socialists get to rule the conquered territory."
