Hilarious: Olympics To Ban 'Trans' Athletes After It 'Discovers' That Males Have Physical Advantages

Hey! There is "new" and completely unexpected scientific evidence that males have physical advantages over females!

Who would have guessed?

Not the International Olympic Committee, which until now has been happy to admit men into women's sports on the completely uncontradicted scientific evidence that there is no physical difference between men and women. But after completely new and unexpected evidence that the previous science was wrong.

Really?! I dissent. I have been reliably informed that being male or female is a completely false binary and that gender differences are entirely mental

A ban on transgender women competitors is strongly expected to be in place for the  2028 Olympics – but it remains unclear if there will be barriers against athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD) after the boxing furore at Paris 2024.

Under the existing rules, each sport is empowered to decide if transgender women can compete if their testosterone levels fall below a designated threshold.

But the International Olympic Committee, under new president Kirsty Coventry, is in discussions about a dramatic policy shift that would impose a blanket ban across all sports for the Los Angeles Games.

Oh, come ON! Imane Khelif is a male with internal testes. Let's quit all the hemming and hawing and just admit that people who are genetically male are born with natural advantages over women. DSDs are birth defects, not an entirely new category of sex, and Khelif's belief or lack thereof that he is a woman should not be a concern of the Olympic Committee, which should apply objective standards and not defer to individual flights of fancy or mistaken beliefs.

Such a move would prevent the kind of scenario that saw Laurel Hubbard contest the weightlifting at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Hubbard transitioned in 2012.

While Olympic sources have confirmed that such a measure is very much the ‘direction of travel’, it is highly unlikely to come into force before the Winter Olympics in Italy next February.

One report suggested that a rule change could be announced in February, but insiders estimated it might take between six months and a year for it to be approved and cleared.

The move would be seen as a box ticked by Coventry, who campaigned to protect the female category on her way to winning the presidential election earlier this year.

The whole "trans athlete" controversy should never have arisen in the first place, and that it did is an example of how ideology and "feelz" can be in steamrolling reason and facts. There are zero people in the professional athletics world who were unaware that it is grossly unfair to allow biological men to compete in women's sports, and that no amount of hormone therapy or surgery can change the fact that men have musculature and bone structures that ensure that, on average, they have physical advantages over women in competitive sports.

No amount of fake "science" can change reality, because facts don't care about your feelings.

Of course, none of that matters to the activists who are steeped in Critical Theory and intersectional justice ideology, and they will go absolutely nuts when this policy is finally put in place. We will get all sorts of claims that "trans women are women," and no doubt lots of lectures about transphobia and the like.

So what? Just give them the Sydney Sweeney look. We're tired of the bull excrement.

The IOC is still being wienies. They are temporizing on DSDs and claiming that no final decision has been made in an effort to boil the frog by making this leak, and then having a "process" where they can pretend they had to think long and hard about this while studying the new evidence.

It's pathetic. Do it. Face the firestorm. And move on. Alphabet activists will make a stink and protest no matter what, so rip the band-aid off.

It's obvious that the powers that be in the IOC wanted to go this direction after the disasters of the past few years. The current president of the IOC actually campaigned for the job on a platform of limiting women's sports to women. I hope she sticks to her guns on men with DSDs, too.

Kirsty Coventry, the new president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), told Telegraph Sport in January that she favoured a blanket ban and, after winning the presidency in March, commissioned a review that assessed the permanent physical advantages of being born male.

An update was provided last week to IOC members by Dr Jane Thornton, who is the committee’s medical and scientific director.

Although no final decision has been made, the update to IOC members reportedly stated that scientific evidence showed there were physical advantages to being born male that remained even after reducing testosterone levels.

The IOC’s current policy is that individual sports should decide their own rules, leaving a mixture of approaches. Athletics and swimming ban transgender athletes while sports such as football permit transgender competitors as long as they have taken measures to reduce their testosterone levels.

Everybody knew. That's why they voted for her. They wanted a "bad guy" to put the policy in place.

Wienies.
