Hakeem Jeffries Threatens Donors to White House Ballroom

Lawfare for me, but not for thee.

While Great Britain holds the crown for the worst two-tier justice system in the Western World, the United States holds its own in the rankings. Democrats and their constituents can get away with murder—almost, anyway—and make up phony crimes to prosecute Donald Trump, his allies, his lawyers, and anybody else they don't particularly care for.

But catch a Democrat who commits an actual crime? It's tyranny, I tell you, to prosecute them!

It is in this context that you should consider Hakeem Jeffries' threat to the private citizens who are donating to Donald Trump's renovation of the White House:

It's a bizarre sort of threat. Jeffries and almost every politician in America take in millions of dollars in donations for their own campaigns, almost always from donors who want to influence their votes. Just about every big Democrat has his photo taken with Alexander Soros, who controls hundreds of millions of dollars used for political purposes, and who manages to funnel a lot of money from the government to Soros-backed NGOs.

Jeffries, as Minority Leader, spends most of his time off the floor raising money from people who do business with the government, and who do quite well out of it. And, as you can see with almost every politician in leadership, what is good for their political lives is good for their private lives.

Look at how well Nancy Pelosi has done for herself.

Yet Jeffries has the gall to threaten people for donating to the White House renovation, which doesn't even benefit Donald Trump. The ballroom will be there for decades or longer, and is a gift to the American people. You may or may not like the gift, but that is a different issue.

The Democrats threaten lawfare all the time, and I am not referring to the normal practice of suing the administration to prevent policy implementation. That is not the same sort of lawfare—it's pretty normal politics, if turned up to 11 in this administration. Politics is hardball, but generally speaking, the rules don't include trying to put each other in jail for non-crimes.

As for the sacredness of The White House, all I can say is COME ON, MAN. Democrats have been tearing down historical statues left and right. Thomas Jefferson was ripped out of the New York City Hall, and no statue is safe if a Democrat decides they don't like it.

American history is as sacred to Democrats as a baby in a mother's womb, meaning not at all. If they don't like it, they will dispose of it without a thought.

So don't give us that "sacredness" crap.

Democrats don't move the goalposts. They are totally imaginary for them. They exist or don't when they say they do or don't.

Calvinball has clearer rules.

PS: Beege has more on the faux outrage.

: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
