And the man at the back said
EVERYONE ATTACK!
And it turned into a ballroom blitz!
And the girl in the corner said, "Boy, I wanna warn ya
It'll turn into a ballroom blitz"
BALLROOM BLITZ!
~ Sweet (1974)
Democrats: The word has gone out, and the word is BALLROOM.
It is to be repeated at every opportunity, during every newscast, and the freakout spasms accompanying it are to be righteous and mighty!
SO SAYETH THE PARTY ELDERS, AND IT WAS...really landing flat.
I don't think these mah-roons think a single thing through - and really, thank God, right? But sometimes it's just so monotonous and tedious that it's painful.
Lemme lay some hurt on you here, just in case you had managed to spare yourself the pain.
Don't get mad at me - that's what I'm paid to do.
The first established fact is that whatever grandiose plans President Trump has, they're not costing taxpayers a dime.
Not a penny.
This cannot be said for any other renovation undertaken in the recent past by pretentious Democrat inhabitants of the same domicile.
They cost us plenty.
BREAKING - A 2010 CNN clip of Obama’s $376 million White House renovation, fully funded by taxpayers unlike President Trump’s $250 million ballroom he’s paying for himself, is going viral as viewers call out Democrat hypocrisy and fake outrage.pic.twitter.com/EDkMISv5ic

Hillary Clinton refurbished the Blue Room, and the $358K for that was paid for by private funds in concert with the Committee for the Preservation of the White House.
But the Clintons then turned around and got nailed for taking furniture and a goodly number of other items with them when they left.
Hillary said she didn't realize that it wasn't all meant for her.
...The Clinton White House furnishings in question, which were donated in 1993, included two sofas, an easy chair and an ottoman, worth $19,900, from Steve Mittman; a kitchen table and four chairs, valued at $3,650, from Lee Ficks; a $2,843 sofa from Brad Noe; $1,170 in lamps from Stuart Schiller; and a $1,000 needlepoint rug from David Martinous, according to the Post as reported by FactCheck.org.
Mittman, Noe and Joy Ficks, the widow of Lee Ficks, told the Post that their donations were gifts to the White House, not the Clintons. The contributions were intended to complement a 1993 White House redecoration project.
The Clintons and their transition team said that they were unaware that the gifts were not intended to go to them.
"All of these items were considered gifts to us," Hillary Clinton said in 2001, according the Post. She added, "… But if there is a different intent, we will certainly honor the intention of the donor."
It’s not his house.

It’s your house.
And he’s destroying it. pic.twitter.com/YchFF5U1nO
Whatever Trump's personal faults and lack of social niceties, I'm pretty sure he doesn't steal the drapes when he moves out.
HE REALLY THINKS HE'S A KING WAAH
Want to know how much Trump's East Wing demolition project will change the people's house?

He really does think he's a king. https://t.co/9GnBNeY24O pic.twitter.com/Mawthzrj89
When you pop up the before and after, it's like...wait a minute. I hadn't realized the East Wing was so meh.
These people are in full-scale mania arrest. pic.twitter.com/rSU7zSgD0z

KNOCK THAT SUCKER DOWN
When you realize the East Wing was an FDR add-on, who cares? John Adams never walked those hallways, and neither did Teddy Roosevelt. There's nothing remotely historic in the walls to cherish.
It looks like an office building. Trump's new ballroom actually reflects the architecture of the White House, unlike the ugly, lumpen box of the East Wing. They slapped a portico on the far side to dress it up a bit, but that was it.
Teddy Roosevelt built the West Wing.

Taft made the Executive Office oval.
FDR added the entire East Wing and included an indoor pool for himself.
Truman gutted the entire White House.
Nixon added a bowling alley.
Obama added a basketball court.

Because it is being done at no cost to taxpayers, and because President Trump will probably leave the draperies and furnishings - which will, no doubt, be in impeccable taste thanks to Melania - the Democrats are on the warpath against the people willing to pay for it all.
THESE PHILANTHROPISTS WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THEIR TREACHERY
Hakeem Jeffries issues a “warning” to funders of the White House ballroom:

“These people are going to be held accountable, no matter how long it takes."
They continue to threaten revenge on one hand, while hyperventilating about Trump’s “revenge tour” on the other. pic.twitter.com/lt0iGOBL7s
The Democrats put out a sappy, 'Save the East Wing!' video that, unfortunately, suffers from the usual Democrat inattention to detail.
A couple of the sumptuous interior shots of the 'East Wing'?
OOOPS
Incredible that the Democrats *still* haven't deleted their post showing Buckingham Palace as the East Wing. pic.twitter.com/xwxp0cdRpc

Buckingham Palace.
The DNC is so mad that President Trump is building a new ballroom at the White House, they posted a sad Instagram video last night.
— GOP (@GOP) October 23, 2025
Too bad their intern put in a photo of the East Wing in Buckingham Palace, not the White House.
Cry more libs. pic.twitter.com/UKYpGGckLl
When you have Gavin Newsom's pre-pubescent social media geniuses cribbing shots off the innerwebs for your hit pieces, what do you expect?
Back to 'You're NOT A KING! You're NOT A KING!' stompy foot raging.
Apparently we've now reached “the White House ballroom project is the definition of why we had the American Revolution” stage of propaganda press hysteria. pic.twitter.com/DXmQhvZ5Gt

Ggggeeehhhhhh
The View’s Whoopi Goldberg is FALSELY claiming that Trump’s White House renovations are being paid “by the people.”
— Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) October 23, 2025
The ballroom is PRIVATELY FUNDED.
Whoopi is a professional liar.pic.twitter.com/MPJvExAAAh
If they're this spazzy while they're still busy voting down military pay, paychecks for essential workers, and 'no' on the clean CR for the TWELFTH TIME, nerves must be jangling and tempers getting short.
Man.
AND a big beautiful new American ballroom...
We need a big ballroom. The U.S./the White House can't host events in a ugly, temporary tent forever. I don't know why the people on the left don't understand this. https://t.co/kMGKQLpxe2 pic.twitter.com/Bs5WjpUcuw
