Yes, I made that number up in the headline. So sue me.
And no, I am not referring to how the media covered the horrific stabbing in Charlotte...

This time, I am referring to the ridiculous media freak-out about Israel's bombing of Hamas's billionaire leadership as they held a meeting in Qatar.
All the usual suspects are upset that vicious terrorists were taken out, because as well all know, vicious terrorists are the good guys.
"Score settling." That's what the BCC calls eliminating foreign terrorists.

How many times do people need to see this before they realize the "Palestinian cause" is as much a globalist facade as BLM? How many viral famine videos need to get exposed as staged or AI-generated? How…
The BBC, for instance, is upset that Israel is settling scores with the terrorists. Of course, settling scores with enemies who murder your citizens is, in itself, a very good thing. No doubt the BBC is upset because it fully backs the UK's policies that punish people for objecting to mass murder--saying something about evil is a prosecutable offense--while letting vicious Islamists rape and pillage.
How else will England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland be decolonized?
The US just signed off on an illegal bombing of its own ally Qatar, from whom Trump just accepted a plane, and where Eric Trump was just opening a golf course? 👀 https://t.co/NSCu5oe3gL

Others are complaining that Israel has been hitting other terrorists, such as the Houthis and Hezbollah. Leave those terrorists alone!
Zionism is the most dangerous form of religious extremism on the planet.

Other than the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, IsraHell has now bombed almost every country in the region, including:
Palestine
Lebanon
Iran
Syria
Iraq
Yemen
Qatar
Some are even hanging on to the hoax that Israel used a drone strike to take out Greta Thunberg--because of course the mean nasty Joos would do anything to innocents who are bringing aid to Gazans. I bet there are enough meals to feed up to 12 Palestinians for a decent lunch.
To begin the week, Israel has bombed Qatar, Tunisia, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and possibly a passenger boat. They say they are attacking Hamas. They also call you Hamas when you are critical of Israel's actions.

See where this goes next?
The irony, of course, is that Israel was almost certainly doing Qatar's dirty work. Qatar is an enigma to most people. They are one of our strongest allies, not only in the Middle East but worldwide, and also the home of some of the worst people on the planet. They pay American and European elites to buy goodwill and have great relations with Iran.

To me, that is no mystery. Qatar is Casablanca for the 21st century. As a small country with enormous resources, they feel very vulnerable, so they do favors for everyone--essentially, they pay everybody protection money. But clearly, they were tired of hosting Hamas, likely not for moral reasons but rather practical ones, and probably gave Israel the green light to take Hamas's billionaire leaders out.

Today's action against the top terrorist chieftains of Hamas was a wholly independent Israeli operation.
Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel takes full responsibility.
The Qatari government, of course, harshly condemned Israel's strike on its territory. No sovereign government could survive without appearing outraged, and in a case like this, they need plausible deniability.

“The State of Qatar strongly condemns, in the harshest terms, the cowardly Israeli attack that targeted residential compounds housing several members of the political bureau of Hamas in the Qatari capital, Doha. This criminal assault constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, and poses a serious threat to the security and safety of Qatari citizens and residents in Qatar.
The Ministry affirms that security authorities, civil defense, and the relevant agencies immediately began handling the incident and taking the necessary measures to contain its consequences and ensure the safety of residents and surrounding areas.
While the State of Qatar strongly denounces this aggression, it also emphasizes that it will not tolerate such reckless Israeli behavior and the continued tampering with regional security, nor any action targeting its security and sovereignty. It further notes that investigations are underway at the highest level, and additional details will be announced as soon as they become available.”
But, I suspect, that their outrage is more than a little feigned.
Qatari leaders know they live in a dangerous neighborhood, and that they are playing a dangerous game. They have much to protect, and will do what it takes to protect it.
It is striking that few Arab countries seem as outraged by Israel's self-defense as Western leftists. Our media and cultural elites hate Israel with a passion, but most Arab countries are tired of how the Palestinian cause has been so destructive to their region.
Elites in Western countries seem immune to the idea that results matter far more than feelings. It is self-indulgent nonsense.
How often do you see the media covering the hostages still held in Gaza? For all these months, Hamas could have ended the hostilities by releasing the hostages and putting down their arms. They have chosen war instead. Sympathizing was Hamas is so great a moral failing that it is hard to comprehend, and a reminder that moral cowardice is common among the all-too-comfortable.
Israel has, for decades, made abundantly clear that they will indeed settle scores, even decades after a crime has been committed.
Ask Eichmann.
To which I say: good. We need more of that.
