Liberals and leftists have many explanations for why they want to suppress some words, ideas, "misinformation," "malinformation" (facts they deem harmful to utter), and slurs.
Most of them come down to some version or another of the claim that kind, safe, and orderly societies where everybody thrives require policing harmful speech. It's a way to prevent bad people from ruining things for everybody else. "Misinformation" causes vaccine hesitancy and unnecessary deaths, slurs cause offense and create social discord, and "malinformation" confuses people and causes people to question the authorities. And so on.
When they say such things, they are hiding the truth: suppressing speech and ideas is necessary to create the moral inversion they are promoting to destroy a just and orderly society.

Europe, and especially the UK, is the epicenter of this project in the West. There are many examples--migrants can commit heinous crimes and have the police cover them up. The same people can call for jihad, the murder of all Jews, the elimination of the UK itself, and the imposition of Sharia law without consequence, while British people are thrown in jail for objecting. And criminals are protected by the police, as law-abiding citizens are told not to shame them.
Police officers told a shopkeeper to take down a sign calling shoplifters “scumbags” because it could cause offence, sparking a free speech row.
Rob Davies put up a handwritten note in his shop after repeated thefts that read: “Due to scumbags shoplifting, please ask for assistance to open cabinets.”
But officers from North Wales Police attended his retro shop in Wrexham and told him to take down the sign as it could cause offence.
The free speech row comes after JD Vance, the US vice-president, told David Lammy, the Foreign Secretary, that the West had become “too comfortable with censoring” and warned the UK not to go down the “very dark path” of censorship.
On Friday, Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, said: “This is madness. Causing offence is not criminal and is none of the police’s business. They should be catching shoplifters, not worrying about offending them.
“Frankly, shoplifters are scumbags. This woke, weak nonsense is a total waste of police time.”
It comes amid a growing shoplifting epidemic across Britain, with official figures last month showing nearly three thefts every minute are being reported.
Mr Davies, who has operated his vintage clothing store, Run Ragged, for five years, said: “Over the past year, I have caught five people shoplifting. The first one I called the police and they handed the shirt back to me and let him go. Now I don’t bother reporting them and I have had to put locks on my cabinets.”
On first thought, one thinks only about how insane the policy is and how the feelings of criminals are prioritized over the orderliness of society. But that is just one layer. What underlies the project is the destruction of the moral order itself. The goal is not to protect people from offense, but rather to slap down people who notice how degenerate things are becoming and punish them for uttering the obvious truth.
This movement is not a misguided attempt to make Britain (or the West) kinder--do you detect an outpouring of kindness from the left toward conservatives or moderates?--but to slap down anybody who defends the moral order that created Western culture. Protecting criminals is a TACTIC, not an excess of warm fuzzy liberalism.

Disorder is the goal, not an unintended effect. Here in the US, we have endured "defund the police," BLM and Antifa riots (which were justified as "public health" measures, if you recall), and mass illegal immigration. All of these have eroded the order and livability in our cities. That was the goal.

Most people still can't wrap their heads around this fact because it seems insane. That's why people roll their eyes at the land acknowledgments, the DEI movement, and the body positivity movements instead of expressing moral outrage. To many, it seems silly, but it is anything but. It is part of the moral inversion project. It brought us the alphabet movement, sterilization and mutilation of children, and the crisis in our cities.
This is what "decolonization" looks like. It is liberals jumping to the side of Hamas, Tren de Aragua members, MS-13 gang bangers, and even judges smuggling violent illegal aliens out of their courtrooms to ensure ICE cannot deport them.
The whole point is to bring the system down, not improve it. This is not about spreading kindness, you Nazi scum! It is about destroying Western culture.
