Axios: Swing Voters LOVE What Trump and Musk Are Doing

Ouch. That has to sting.

As Democrats throw temper tantrums about having their scams revealed, they have placed their hope in two things:

  • lawfare
  • emotional blackmail

As Elon Musk is acting like a bull in a (counterfeit) china shop, the Democrats pick up the shards of worthless ceramic lying on the floor and cry that priceless artwork has been destroyed.

Nobody is buying it. People are waking up to the fact that most of what the government does is a fraud, simply worthless, or impedes our freedom and prosperity. We have been paying astronomical prices for this worthless junk, and no amount of crying that what Trump and Musk are doing is "evil" or "cruel" is working outside the Blue-Anon circles.

Not all the feedback I have been getting outside X has been positive--I have plenty of people with whom I am close who still believe the sob stories or think that a scalpal would solve our problems rather than a meat axe--but there are lots of data points that tell us that what Trump is doing is backed by a majority of the American people.

Axios reports on a focus group done by Engagious, in which Arizona swing voters were asked about their views of Trump's first three weeks.

They voted for Biden in 2020 and swung to Trump in 2024. So we are not talking about hardcore MAGA people. Yet 100% of them are happy with what Trump is doing and a supermajority approve of Elon Musk and DOGE.

They want even more of the same. They are not yet tired of the winning, and all the bellyaching by the Democrats leaves them unmoved

The bottom line: "These swing voters are delighted by Musk's Trump-endorsed government housecleaning," said Rich Thau, president of Engagious, who moderated the focus groups.

  • "The prospect of a looming constitutional crisis is completely inconceivable to them."
  • Trump, Vance and Musk "should be ecstatic" about the 11 swing voters' feedback "and Democrats should be scared to death."

Democrats believe they have a messaging problem, which is partly true. Nobody is listening to their messages because they have spent decades lying, and are lying now. More and more Americans see the man behind the curtain and realize that the left has been pillaging the country (often with the help of subservient or collaborating Republicans).

The people who have gotten away with this for decades stand exposed.

Dean Philips, former Minnesota Congressman and erstwhile presidential candidate, tried to warn the Democrats that they were headed toward disaster and is naive enough to believe that his colleagues actually care about anything other than continuing the grift. He is right that they look ridiculous but wrong about them having any choice about continuing down the current path.

The federal budget is the lifeblood of the transnational elite. They can't let it be downsized, let the flow of USAID money dry up, or stop the DEI or NetZero grifts because they represent the vast majority of the resources the elite have. If George Soros had to use his own money as anything but the seed money for his projects, he would run out fast; USAID and other federal programs provide the vast majority of the money that makes radical activism possible.

So Democrats, NGOs, and federal bureaucrats have to keep up the fight, which makes them look even worse to the majority of people.

As long as this is where all the focus is Trump will grow stronger, not weaker. The more the Democrats howl about cutting off the money for transgender comic books or their right to run the Kennedy Center for drag queens, the more they will lose credibility on everything.

It's hard to believe that it has been less than a month since the inauguration.

So. Much. Winning.
