Were You Naive Enough to Believe Joe Biden?

I have to say I am a bit surprised that so many people are expressing shock and dismay that Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter.

Sure, I am dismayed, but how can I or anybody else be surprised at this point? Joe Biden only tells the truth by accident. A true statement coming out of his mouth is as likely as an infinite number of monkeys over an infinite amount of times typing out a Shakespeare play.

It is statistically possible but pretty unlikely.

The Bidens are and have always been a crime family. Biden got into politics for his own and his family's benefit and his entire political career has been a grift. He sold out the country for his own financial benefit countless times. To China, to Ukraine, to Russia--to an entire rogue's gallery of bad actors and oligarchs, enriching his family at the expense of the American people.

Countless Republicans are rightly expressing outrage, but seriously: did anybody actually trust Biden when he said he would not pardon his son? I didn't. It was as plausible as the COVID vaccine preventing infection and transmission, and uttered with exactly the same concern for telling the truth.

People point to the countless statements of not just Biden but all his defenders in the Pravda media that Biden's respect for the rule of law was what distinguished him from Trump.

Please. They didn't believe that then and don't believe it now. It was a talking point in the brainwashing operation, not a serious statement meant to reflect anything true. The only people who thought Joe Biden was anything but a lying crook are the people who still believe the Pravda Media, and those are the people we still have to reach. This pardon is one more crack in the dam of disbelief.

It is entirely right for Republicans to spit fire at Biden's pardon of his son, but not because we are outraged by the decision--I am far too cynical these days to be surprised and outraged at Biden--but to hold the media to account for repeating what they KNEW to be lies in order to help the regime.

Our real enemy is the regime. If the price for bringing down the regime is letting the scumbag son of the sitting president get away with his crimes, I am willing to pay that price. Hunter was never going to go to jail, and everybody knows it. The president and his Justice Department have been hiding the crimes of the Biden family for years or decades. Now that Hunter is pardoned, Kash Patel should dump all the dirty laundry into the public view.

One of the more amusing results of the pardon is watching the NeverTrump Republicans split between those who are genuinely shocked--the idiots--and those who rush to Joe's defense--the shills. Joe Walsh, a NeverTrumper, is shocked and dismayed, calling into question his intelligence or at least his perspicacity.

On the front page of The Bulwark you see the shill response, which went from "it will never happen because Joe has integrity" to "it was a great idea because Trump is an Orange Meanie.

The Biden family is done terrorizing the American people, and we should turn our fire on the people who enabled them to betray and pillage our country. Those people are in or have left the FBI, the Justice Department, sit in newsrooms, and write opinion pieces attacking MAGA as lawless.

Our goal has to be taking THEM down, and the Hunter Biden pardon is a modest part of the pattern of corruption we have to expose. Biden's selfishness matters more as proof of the two-tier system and the utter corruption of our system than as a moral outrage. Compared to all the moral outrages and political hit jobs, this is small beer.

Exposing Hunter's crimes is important not because we need to put Hunter in jail--we were never going to do that--but because showing that Hunter got away with all this evil and will get away with it furthers our cause. As the evidence comes out, we should point to the pardon every day, and as the evidence comes out, the media will defend the Bidens. That defense will be devastating to its credibility, and that is a good thing.

We have to point to the lies every day and force the Pravda media to defend them, all while rounding up the people who covered up the crimes. Every time they attack us for going after the malefactors, we should wrap those lies around their necks. It will undermine their attacks on Trump for his "retribution." As they scream retribution, we point to the crimes the media excused. When Democrats complain that Trump is undermining norms, we should just play this:

The Hunter Biden pardon was a foregone conclusion months ago. We need to use it not to attack Joe Biden as a hypocrite, but the entire political elite and everybody inclined to defend it. Those are the people who remain a danger to the Republic and those are the people we need to take down.
