The media spent years pushing the bizarre and clearly false story that Donald Trump hired Russian hookers to pee on a bed. They persecuted Brett Kavanaugh and friends over ridiculous accusations that he was a gang rapist in High School. Clarence Thomas has been slandered for decades about a likely false story about pubic hairs on Coke cans. 

But stories about Doug Emhoff, who the media have been pushing as the new face of masculinity, are to be buried. 

Emhoff, you see, is married to Kamala Harris. So, the fact that he destroyed his first marriage by sleeping with the nanny is brushed under the rug. The very credible claims that he slapped his girlfriend in the face at Cannes is completely ignored. And the testimony of his colleagues at the law firm he helmed that he was a misogynist who employed women for their looks, excluded female lawyers from evening socializing, and tolerated (or committed) sexual harassment is memory-holed without examination.

There is nothing new about this double standard, but as with the 60 Minutes scandal and the entire propaganda campaign to portray Joe Biden as Cincinnattus, Kamala Harris as a brilliant JOYful warrior marching us into the future, and Donald Trump as Hitler, the media has gone into full Pravda mode.

Tabloids have been covering these stories, which is used to discredit them. "They are tabloid gossip, not facts." Yet this is no excuse. The tabloids would cover any of these stories about Democrats or Republicans. It's just that only Republicans get the corporate media treatment. 

The story about Emhoff hitting his girlfriend is almost certainly true. There are multiple people confirming it with contemporaneous accounts, Emhoff is not loudly denying it, and it at least bears investigation. Emhoff is not only the spouse of Kamala Harris; he is an integral part of her campaign and put forth as the new model for masculinity. If that is their pitch, then we should know what that model actually is, not just the shiny happy propaganda version. 

The sexual harassment claims also have evidence, in the form of a lawsuit.

Again, these are not new or made-up allegations, as with Kavanaugh. There are court documents, which refer to him not by name, but as a partner of the firm. His secretary was specifically referred to as being hired for her looks, and claims by former employees are at least worth investigating. They are risking much to speak up, so they deserve a hearing. 

Attorneys who worked with Doug Emhoff at his former firm Venable say he yelled expletives, held a men-only cocktail hour in the office, revoked work perks from women who didn't flirt with him, and took only young, attractive associates in a limousine to a ball.

A 2019 lawsuit also claimed sex discrimination by other partners in the LA office Emhoff ran, and that while engaged to Harris, he hired an 'unqualified' part-time model as a legal secretary 'because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office'.

There is a pattern here, although there is not enough proof to assert without doubt the second and third allegations are "true," there certainly is enough to get a hearing. Our standard in politics is not "beyond a reasonable doubt"--ask Donald Trump if that standard is used to cover allegations hurled him!--and Emhoff is being held up as a key reason to vote for Kamala Harris. 

One senior former staffer claimed Emhoff 'bragged' about yelling 'get the f*** out of my office' to a female partner at the firm, later telling his top male colleagues that he had 'put her in her place'.

'She had to ask him something,' the ex-staffer said. 'His office door was closed. She said to his secretary, 'is he on the phone?' She said no. She tapped on the door, he didn't answer, so she slightly opened the door and stuck her head in.

'He said "get the f*** out of my office."

'What's worse was he bragged about it to the management at Venable and they were aghast. He's an a**hole. He told them how he "put her in her place". A misogynist, that's who does that.'

It wouldn't be difficult to track down former employees of Emhoff and get closer to the truth, but the MSM refuses to do so because it reflects badly on Harris whom they need to win. People should be free to evaluate the evidence, and the "tabloid" excuse is ridiculous. The Hunter Biden laptop got the same treatment--it was obviously false because only a tabloid would publish anything about it. That was only true because the MSM was determined to bury it, and they did.

That was real, and people should have been able to evaluate the evidence. 

Let's be honest, using the civil litigation standard--more likely to be true than not--Emhoff would be toast in the public's eye, or at least with people open to hearing the evidence. Using the criminal standard--beyond a reasonable doubt--I would say the accusations are unproven so far. 

In politics, we don't use criminal standards to evaluate candidates. We use common sense, as it should be. 

It is not news to say that "journalists" are nothing but propagandists these days. Journalists who have left the MSM and who are thriving in the alternative media confirm this, which is why more and more people are flocking to those alternative media outlets--which are increasingly center to center-left as the moderates are driven out of the agenda media sphere. It is no longer just right-wingers, and people have noticed. 

Still, the ubiquity and power of the MSM make it a powerful force. Not yet discredited with moderate swing voters, it can move elections and bestow power to their chosen ones. It is how Joe Biden won, and how he hid his mental infirmity for years. Only unfiltered evidence in the form of the debate shattered the Truman Show the media created. 

Our long-term goal must be to destroy all credibility of the media. After a certain point, Pravda and Soviet State media could no longer move the needle and the Soviet Union fell. Reality got so bad that it couldn't be covered up. 

Our job is to accelerate that process here and break the media monopoly.
