Kamala Harris gets the best endorsements. 

Liz Cheney. Dick Cheney. Vladimir Putin. Iran. Oprah. Diddy's buddies. 

And the IRS. She got the coveted IRS endorsement.

What's striking to me is how these endorsements are supposed to be good for her, and I am certain that for many people they are indeed appealing. If you are a member of or trust the establishment, Kamala is your candidate. 

This election is nothing if not a referendum on the establishment, and I find it frightening that it is as close as it is, if the polls are to be believed. 

I'm sure that the same is true for the other side. They view a Trump win with the same dread as we view a Harris/Walz victory, and we are both right. 

If you like the way things are going--and they are going quite well for some people who depend on the government or who make bank off of government waste and fraud--Kamala Harris is your candidate. If you believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction then Trump is your guy. 

You can see this split at its starkest with some of the union bosses, who (aside from the Teamsters) have been endorsing Harris despite widespread disapproval of their members. The bosses see Harris as their champion; the rank and file see the same in Trump. 

YESTERDAY: Nearly 60% of @Teamsters are voting for President Trump.

TODAY: 70% of Steamfitters Local 638 are voting for President Trump.

ALSO TODAY: It’s estimated 65-70% of UAW members are voting for President Trump.

The same can be seen with the Republicans voting for Harris; they are the establishment crowd and identify more with the government than the 95% of Republicans who will be voting for Trump. 

If you see your future aligned with the IRS auditors, there is nothing I can say to change your mind.
