Shut Up, Germany

We keep being sold a line about Russia interfering in our elections, as no doubt they try to do. But the fact is that our European "allies" interfere in American elections and present a much greater threat to Americans' freedoms than Russia ever will.

Russia doesn't understand Americans, and for most of us, they are villains. And, to be honest, Russia is paper tiger that presents neither a military nor a political danger to the United States. They are a Chihuahua up against a Great Dane when they take on America.

Americans do have a soft spot for Europe--so much so that we pulled their chestnuts out of the fire three times in the last century, and have been defending the continent for decades. In return, Europe has decided to attack Americans' freedom of speech and to interfere in our presidential elections.

One example among many is the German Foreign Ministry's attack on Donald Trump, which along with being obnoxious and impertinent was also dead wrong.

Trump took a well-deserved and well-aimed shot at the push for "renewable" energy, and Germany took offense.

To which I say: shut up. Just as Angela Merkel got open borders wrong and imported millions of uncivilized migrants who are raping and pillaging Europe right now, Germany has been pushing a Net Zero agenda that is destroying its industrial base, increasing the use of coal (ironically), and creating the highest energy prices in Europe. For the first time ever German car companies are closing plants and moving elsewhere.

Their energy policies are a perfect example of what Net Zero policies look like, and the results are exactly what the transnational elite wants to happen in America.

Higher prices, lower energy consumption, and a worse quality of life are considered a "success" by the current German left-leaning government. This is not, as the German Foreign Ministry says, a failure in their eyes, but in the eyes of any clear-thinking American it is a disastrous result.

What is particularly striking, though, is that it was the Foreign Ministry that sent this tweet out. A DIPLOMAT seriously attacking the Republican Presidential candidate and taking a side in our elections.

To which I say: screw them.

I have, until recently, been a fan of NATO, believing that the expense was a price we paid for having influence over European policies. He who pays the piper gets to choose the tune. Germany and Europe have been beneficiaries of our largesse, and in return, they should give deference to America. If they want more independence, they should quit relying on the US.

Apparently, they don't see it that way. The European Union demanded that Twitter/X not allow President Trump to speak to Americans, and now Germany is attacking Trump and all his supporters by spreading clear falsehoods about their energy success.

Should Trump win, he should slash NATO funding and demand they pay up for their own defense. If they refuse, we should consider abandoning Europe to its fate. It is on a path to becoming an Islamist state in any case, thanks mainly to German idiocy.

I wrote about the decline in Germany's military in February, and it is much worse than you think. If you think their energy policies are bad, know that their military readiness is much worse. Much the same is true throughout Europe.

Der Spiegel wrote about how pathetic German military readiness is, and if you want to cry go read their article. For countries claiming to worry about Russia, they sure don't care to defend themselves.

Our real ally in Europe is Poland, which has the strongest military in Europe and which would shred Russia in a few months. It's time to look East for allies and make the Western Europeans start defending themselves. If they do we can reconsider our declining help for them; if not, let them succumb to their Islamist friends.

It would be sad to see them do so, but if they are determined to interfere with Americans' rights and American democracy, then they are no longer our friends.

I'm sad to see this, but this has been coming for a long time.
