Just What Is Meant When Israel Is Accused of Killing 'Journalists?'

As I keep telling you, the Left's most powerful tool in their tyrannical toolbox is the manipulation of words.

At least so far. Violence is the second-most powerful tool in their toolbox in the United States, but it may soon surpass brainwashing as the primary tool they use.

A case in point is how Israel gets the blame for killing civilians, journalists, "children," and "aid workers." These are all very sympathetic groups, and if Israel were really targeting them in order to get revenge on Hamas they would deserve much of the criticism they are being subjected to.

But the definition of these categories, when applied to Hamasniks, isn't what you think it is, and to prove that point let's look at one "journalist" who was killed by Israelis and ask ourselves, "Is this type of person we normally categorize as a 'journalist?'"

Ali Nasman was a Palestinian celebrity prior to his well-deserved death in October of 2024. It is true that he was very popular with Palestinians and was occasionally considered a "journalist," but he was actually a propagandist for Hamas and participated in the October 7th massacres and the kidnapping of civilians.

He was as much a "journalist" as Joe Scarborough is "nonpartisan," meaning not at all. Nasman wasn't just a legitimate military target but deserved to be high on the list of Hamas operatives whom Israel should rightfully eliminate.

Whatever sympathies you might have for Hamas' goals--I have exactly the opposite--it's hard to come up with an explanation of how Nasman wasn't an active participant in the attacks on Israel because he did, in fact, participate in the atrocities. And as a "journalist," his job was not to "report news" but incite violence.

In other words, he wasn't a journalist at all.

Yet we are told again and again that "journalists" like Nasman are victims of Israeli targeting, proving that the Israeli Defense Forces are evildoers who deserve condemnation.

Those nasty Israelis. They target journalists!

The same goes for the "children" who are listed among the dead, if we can even believe the propaganda.

Now surely there are civilian casualties in Gaza--every war has them--but a vast number of those "children" are teen soldiers carrying guns, shooting at Israeli soldiers, and even their ages are fudged to make them seem younger than they are.

Civilians, in turn, are the label applied to people fighting in mufti instead of uniforms. But given that Hamas fights in mufti, that basically means every Hamas fighter is a "civilian" by this definition.

Thus we get inflated lists of "civilian" casualties that include terrorists as civilians. Play with the meaning of the words and you can torture them into saying anything.

This is one of the primary tools of the left--brainwashing people by repeating falsehoods endlessly, and the falsehoods are built on redefining words. The left hijacks the emotional content of words while changing their meaning into something unrecognizable.

Media outlets will literally print articles by "journalists" who were holding hostages at the time.

That's how we get the "What is a woman" question. You and I know "woman" means adult human female, but the left redefine it in order to appropriate our love of women and try to redirect it where they want.

In this case, the question is "What is a journalist" or "What is a civilian?"

When spoken by a leftist, it doesn't mean what you think it does. A "journalist" is simply somebody who spouts the "right" propaganda and whom the left likes.
