Ear Trutherism Is Being Mainstreamed By AP, PBS, and Now WaPo's Jen Rubin

It is the most insane thing I have ever seen coming from the Establishment media, and I have seen plenty of insane things said by the MSM.

Ear Trutherism is a thing now.

You would expect this from Joy Reid, who is clearly as mentally ill as Britney Spears and should be put under conservatorship. The Associated Press and PBS may be propaganda outlets, but they are usually much more sly than this.

Reid, after all, thinks that Joe Biden recovering from a cold is as heroic as Donald Trump getting shot and getting back to yell, "Fight, Fight, Fight!"

But the Associated Press is going there, if not quite to the insane levels of MSNBC. They appear to be desperate to undermine the Trump is a hero Narrative, so they are just "raising questions" about Trump's wound.

It's what I call "Ear Trutherism."

Michael Steel on MSNBC seemed to kick off the insanity with his insane call for proof that Trump got shot as if we didn't all SEE that Trump got shot. It was Orwellian, but it was also MSNBC.

The Associated Press did put it more slyly than MSNBC, but they, too, wonder about Trump's medical records.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Four days after a gunman’s attempt to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally, the public is still in the dark over the extent of his injuries, what treatment the Republican presidential nominee received in the hospital, and whether there may be any long-term effects on his health.

Trump’s campaign has refused to discuss his condition, release a medical report or records, or make the doctors who treated him available, leaving information to dribble out from Trump, his friends and family.

The first word on Trump’s condition came about half an hour after shots rang out and Trump dropped to the ground after reaching for his ear and then pumped his fist defiantly to the crowd with blood streaming down his face. The campaign issued a statement saying he was “fine” and “being checked out at a local medical facility.”

Really?! REALLY?

It may only be the crazies out there who are saying that Trump faked the shooting or had his ear cut after the attempt, but a few voices in the media are pushing the idea, and the Associated Press is now giving them fuel for the fire.

It's ridiculous. Eric Trump downplayed the wound, calling it a flesh wound, so it's not like the Trump team is suggesting that the former president faced life-threatening wounds.

The problem for the Biden faithful--a diminishing number these days--is the contrast between Trump's fighting spirit and Biden's decrepitude, which was on display last night when he needed help getting into his car.

Van Jones, who isn't insane, put it all on the line, comparing Biden's obvious decline to Trump's projection of strength. This is so obvious it barely needs mentioning.

This is why we get Ear Trutherism. It is the last redoubt of the Biden circle. Few in the MSM are willing to sell this narrative, but with the Associated Press behind it, sort of, it will get spread around the country.

It would be shameful were it not so pathetic.

Actually, it is both shameful AND pathetic. It doesn't have a whiff of desperation but a rotting stench that most people can smell a mile away.
