I have been waiting for quite a while to see the war between Elon Musk and the European Union break out into the open.
Ever since Elon bought Twitter the Establishment has been panicked by their loss of control over the Narrative™, and they have been making noises about pushing Twitter/X out of Europe or imposing fines if Musk doesn't shut down free speech on his platform.
The Elite have been waging an open financial war on the platform, driving advertisers away and trying (and failing) to come up with competitors that will drive Twitter/X out of the market. The financial hits have been very real; the competitors all have been total flops.

Today the E.U. dropped a bombshell on Elon, declaring that they have concluded that Twitter "deceives users," whatever that means, and violates the Digital Services Act. The second is true, the first ridiculous on its face, given that the claim is based on changing the meaning of the "Blue check."
Everybody knows what the blue check means.

It IS true that Twitter's current version violates the Digital Services Act, arguably, because the Digital Services Act is nothing but a censorship regime intended to shut down any speech that doesn't parrot exactly what the Davos Elites want out there. That isn't even an exaggeration; that is what it is intended to do.
If George Orwell wanted to write a law to make 2024 look like 1984, the DSA would be a great first start. It is, I say unironically, evil.

Elon clearly wants this fight, and he took his first shot back at the E.U. by revealing that they offered him and the other social media platforms a deal: comply with our censorship demands and we will help you deceive your users. He accuses the other social media platforms of taking the deal, and I believe him. Nobody is taking any shots at them because they have knuckled under.

The European Union isn't just doing it for their own Elites--they are collaborating with US policymakers, the intelligence "community," the MSM, and the censorship industrial complex to do their dirty work because there are limits placed on what government can do due to the First Amendment.
Europe will censor when the US is limited to.
It is corrupt, tyrannical, election interference, and violates the basic rights of speech and conscience of all people, especially Americans, and I honestly believe that if there is a God in Heaven these people will never see him face to face. They will be meeting a demon instead.
This is the most important front in the cultural and political battles we are fighting, because every other battle is tied to control over the information sphere.
Control over information is how the elites get away with all the hoaxes they put on people. It is how they whip up the hysteria about any issue they feel the need to. It is how the pandemic measures were used to transfer trillions of dollars from the poor and middle classes to the big corporations. It is how they censored campaign information, pushed the Russia hoax, suppressed the Biden laptop, convinced people that 2020 was "the most secure election in history," and kept the truth about Biden's brain hidden for years.
I spend a lot of time on Twitter/X and I can tell you one thing for sure: even with all the crap, conspiracy theories, vitriol, and everything else on there that can make it unpleasant, you see more reality there than anywhere in the media. I can't tell you how many things I see two, three, or even 5 days earlier on Twitter than in the MSM, and many stories that never make it there.

This has been my experience. Twitter breaks the mainstream media monopoly. It isn't perfect. Not by a long shot. But it is invaluable.
