I am shamelessly stealing a lot from Drew Holden, who posted a thread on Twitter that lays this all out. I thought the thread was superb and deserved to be seen by people who are sane and don't wallow in the swamp now called "X."
Drew, if you see this, know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and that I want you to get credit. If Drew doesn't see this, ignore everything I just said and give me all the credit, people.
I have been pounding the drum on what I think is the most important thing to focus on right now, and it's not the decline of the president. Everybody knows that, can see it, and it is baked into the cake. What conservatives need to do is open everybody's eyes to the real villains in this story, and that is the mainstream media.

Without their conscious decision to engage in a full-on conspiracy to perpetrate a hoax, Biden would never have become president. He probably would not even have become the 2020 Democrat candidate for president. Biden was already in mental decline in 2019--even George Clooney admitted that in his Opinion piece in The New York Times in an aside--and the media helped Biden and his aides to cover that fact up.

Clooney doesn't come out publicly without Obama's guidance. Stephanopoulos doesn't 'inadvertently' say his opinion. Pelosi doesn't go on Scarborough without a script. The NYT doesn't call for change w/o coordination.

Biden ran the "basement campaign," in which he made few appearances and did only scripted events. The media called every criticism of Biden a lie or "misinformation." They put Biden on their back and carried him over the finish line. Biden wasn't as bad as he is now, but everybody with a brain could see his decline if they cared to look.

They also pushed every anti-Trump hoax as if it were reality, turning him into a moronic demon while Joe Biden was a wonderful, compassionate genius who just wanted to save the world from Orange Hitler.

Now the media has turned on Biden both to save their own skins--they are getting splashed with vomit--and to satisfy the Obama/Establishment crowd who have been agitating to get him out.
We can't let them off the hook. We need America to face the fact that the media really IS the "enemy of the people." I hated that phrase in 2020; I think it is 100% true now. I was wrong.
Perhaps the wildest was @washingtonpost, who gave “Four Pinocchio’s” to videos showing Biden displaying cognitive problems, dismissing them as fakes, “pernicious” efforts “to reinforce an existing stereotype.”

Holden gives us the receipts. The media, until the debate, did everything they could to "debunk" the obvious reality that Biden's brain was pudding. They "fact-checked," did thumb-suckers, attacked conservatives for pointing it out, and smeared anybody who stood up and told the truth.

We are seeing tell-all stories now acknowledging what conservatives have been saying for years, and increasingly in the past few months. But because conservatives were saying it and Donald Trump would benefit, they decided to lie. They echoed Karine Jean-Pierre, Joe Scarborough, the harridans of The View, and every insane person who is a Democrat shill.

Glenn Kessler pulls out his "4 Pinnochios" to label truths as falsehoods. NBC News "journalists" echo White House talking points. Commentators ridiculed people or attacked them as partisan hacks for saying blindingly obvious things.
Because they are Regime Media. Pravda. They are as bad as North Korean media. They do what they are told, or at least what they think will please their masters.

Lest you blame ordinary people for not noticing, remember that most people don't spend their lives obsessing about politics--and they shouldn't HAVE TO. They have lives to lead, children to raise, vacations to take, and should be enjoying all the good things that living in the greatest country in the world provides.
Just as we outsource defending the nation to the military, we outsource watching over politicians to the media. And the media has betrayed America.
Back in February, special counsel Robert Hur determined that Biden lacked the mental fortitude to face a jury without seeming like a feeble, affable old man.

It is literally THEIR JOB--about which they tell us all the time--to hold the powerful accountable. To filter the wheat from the chaff and give us the information we need as citizens so that we can participate in the decision-making in our great Republic. They call themselves the "Fourth Estate" and brag about their vital role in preserving our country.

Everybody knows that politicians lie, spin, exaggerate, and are generally out for themselves. We count on the media to restrain their worst impulses. To dig into the muck, find the rot and expose it.

The media is engaged in another hoax. They claim they were fooled, or missed the signs, or, perhaps, could have been just a tiny bit less credulous.
B.S. They were in on it. They are scrambling to point fingers at everybody else. But they were the guiltiest parties of all. It isn't Karine Jean-Pierre's job to expose the weaknesses of the president.
It is THE MEDIA'S job. But rather than do it, they propped up the incompetent KJP and amplified her shockingly bad excuses and lies.

Politicians come and go, but the media, like the bureaucracy, is permanent. They help make or break the politicians. They pick and choose who gets in to a great extent, and thus they help push the most poisonous narratives and policies destroying our country.
Look at alphabet ideology--especially transgenderism. The media was all-in LONG before the politicians. They created the issue and the politicians hopped on board after the media made it necessary for them to do so.
I know it’s hard to believe, but there are many more examples of the media covering for Biden’s mental state than what I could fit in this thread.

There is much more to say, but let me end with this:
Our job is to destroy the mainstream media. It is now a cancer in the body politic. Sure, we have to defeat the Democrats, but recognize that the Democrats are this way because it is what the media wants, or at least the media enables the Democrats to pursue their insane policies.
That's why you see so many former politicians and operatives in the media--they are basically the same thing. It's time to destroy their influence.
