If we have learned nothing else during the pandemic, everybody ought to agree at least that Anthony Fauci is a pathological liar. 

I have given up on being outraged about the little man behaving in a little way. He is a sociopath--and I don't mean that (solely) as an insult. Here is the Mayo Clinic definition of a sociopath, or somebody diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder:

Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental health condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. 

Seem familiar? Anthony Fauci definitely fits the bill. He has zero regard for others, surrounds himself with sycophants who will worship him, works in an office filled with pictures of himself, and designed policies that created a virus that killed millions, impoverished millions more, condemned people to dying alone, harmed countless children, and...well, fill in the blanks, because there are too many for me to list. 

Obviously, Fauci should be reviled for his actions and moral crimes against humanity, but that is not really what I want to discuss.

Fauci's enablers, especially those in the scientific community and the mainstream media, still fill me with anger. His defenders in Congress are contemptible. And all of them did it for money, power, and usually ideology. 

A sociopath is, by definition, incapable of feeling shame or compassion. He is a rattlesnake, incapable of empathy. I don't believe Fauci has any moral sense at all. It is, at best, atrophied. However, the media, our politicians, and scientists are supposed to provide at least some level of accountability for and protection from the abuses of sociopaths with power, and all of them failed spectacularly.

Generally speaking, scientists who engaged in public Fauci worshipping did it for money and prestige. Base motives, for sure, but I doubt many of them thought that if they spoke up they would have changed anything for the better, while they surely would have paid a price. I don't give them a pass by any means, but they are hardly the worst offenders. 

The politicians? Most of them, too, are sociopaths. Do you think Adam Schiff or Jamie Raskin cares a whit about the American public? Show me the evidence that they are not as morally vacuous as Fauci.

It is the media for whom I have the most contempt because they did what they did out of pure spite. They hate the American public, Republicans, and especially Donald Trump. 

 The media campaigned viciously and without even the slightest regard for truth against the nearly obvious fact that COVID originated in a bio lab in Wuhan, and that Anthony Fauci (who constantly lied about this) funded its creation. They did so because Donald Trump called it the "China virus," and they hated Trump.

They heaped scorn on the lab leak theory, claiming it was a wild conspiracy theory. Time and again, the media echoed lies--lies they accepted because it helped them attack Donald Trump--without conscience.

The media is supposed to be our last line of defense against the sociopaths who naturally gravitate to places where they can get money and power. Instead of performing this function, they reached for the brass rings of money and power themselves, cozying up to the Faucis, his enablers, and anybody who hated Donald Trump. 

The mainstream media has, indeed, become the enemy of the people. They have, self-consciously and with malice aforethought, sided with people who are proven liars because they hate anybody to the right of Mao Zedong. And, of course, because cozying up to the permanent Washington establishment serves them very well indeed. 

Chris Cuomo, because he lost his MSNBC audience, is now trying to switch sides to get a new audience. Suddenly he is taking and talking up Ivermectin and denying that he ever viciously criticized Joe Rogan for taking it. He got caught out in the lie.

Of all the clowns in this dystopian circus, the media enrages me the most. They are the enforcers, Pravda, pretend defenders of the people, and yet they sacrifice us to their gods of power and money. They are, in a real way, the most corrupt. People are more naturally skeptical of politicians than reporters, so the betrayal of the reporters is much worse.
