Score another victory for alphabet ideology, this time in Germany. 

As much as we may hope or believe that gender ideology is being pushed back, we have to recognize that the political momentum that it has gained over the past decade is still moving in the wrong direction. Many European countries are putting the brakes on "gender-affirming" care for children, but the movement itself is humming along racking up victories in other arenas.

Case in point: Germany, where the Bundestag just passed a gender-identification bill that allows individuals to legally change their gender once a year because that is how reality rolls. That is insane, but not especially harmful in the grand scheme of things. 

But another aspect of the bill is deeply harmful: allowing parents to choose their newborn's gender the moment the child exits the womb. Sex is erased, and every ideologically charged idiot will be able to trans their child at birth. 

The German Parliament, or Bundestag, passed one of the world’s most far-reaching sex self-determination policies on April 12, despite protests from women’s rights campaigners. The Self-Determination Act (SBGG) establishes ‘gender identity’ as a protected characteristic and allows parents to change the sex marker on their children’s documents from birth.

Birth. There is not even a hint of irony in this. Gender, supposedly, is a feeling that only a person can experience internally, but now every deranged parent looking for some social clout can trans their child before their first breastfeeding. 

I mean chestfeeding. 

Other provisions in the bill are simply oppressive, such as putting massive fines on people for "deadnaming" or "misgendering" a person. 

Supported by Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s three-party coalition and promoted and supported by the Socialist Democratic Party (SDP), the SBGG also creates the potential for citizens to be fined up to €10,000 (approx. $10,800 USD) for revealing a person’s given name and birth sex without their permission – an action that trans activists staunchly oppose and refer to as ‘deadnaming.’

No word on whether calling anybody a "TERF" will result in a fine. 

The bill was supported by the Left-wing coalition that is currently in power and was championed by trans-female members who are openly fetishists. Including supporting "trans-age" fetishists and promoting bizarre sexual play to teens. 

Lehmann is a member of Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as a member of German Parliament from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2017. He also has worked as the Federal Government’s Commissioner for the Acceptance of Sexual and Gender Diversity (which has been nicknamed the “Queer Commissioner”) in the coalition government since 2021.

Lehmann has previously drawn criticism for confessing in an interview for Queer.de to using the application Grindr during meetings in Parliament, and justifying this by stating, “Grindr is also work.” In response to public outcry, the policitian took to Instagram to denounce critics as “TERFs”.

“Queer Commissioner” Lehmann has held a a leadership position in a government-funded youth project which has promoted BDSM in a publication co-designed by minors. Lambda Bundesverband, an organization which receives financial support from the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend – BMFSFJ), has created resources describing “humiliation play” and “age fetishes” in collaboration with children as young as 14.

The political momentum on the Left is still entirely in favor of alphabet ideology, and if there is light at the end of the tunnel, it sure isn't very close. Transgender sanctuary laws are still being passed in the United States, and insurance companies are being forced to pay for gender "care." Foster parents and adoptive parents are being screened for their religious beliefs and whether they will take children to Pride parades, and there is no indication that Blue states won't keep pushing this dangerous ideology. 

More and more ordinary people are coming to see how destructive this is. Still, until there is a genuine and sustained backlash that costs people their jobs, their elections, their medical licenses, and their teaching certificates, it will continue. 

We are a long way off from that point, and we have to redouble our efforts. We will be excoriated for it, and nobody will thank us when we finally win. 

But it is God's work, and the kids need our help.
