John Kerry: If Russia Wants to Be Loved, It Should Cut Greenhouse Gas Emissions

John Kerry is leaving his position as the Administration's "Climate Envoy," whatever that is, and is shuffling off the stage and onto a private jet.

On his way out the door, Kerry got to do more than his usual level of bloviating. And as with all Kerry bloviating, he spoke as a moralistic halfwit whose Deep Thoughts are as shallow as a puddle after a brief spring rain. He explained how the coming Green Revolution will eclipse the Industrial Revolution, and how a glorious new future would emerge out of his efforts.

He also explained how Vladimir Putin could get back on his good side.

Putin, you see, is an evil man. We know that not just because he is currently engaged in an unprovoked war in Ukraine, but more importantly because his country emits a lot of carbon dioxide.

If Putin wants the West to forgive him, he needs to sit down with the likes of John Kerry and kick in some bucks--a lot of them will be needed--to enrich the climate scammers that Kerry is going to be making deals with in his sunset years.

As he explained, his next steps in life--he is 80 but vigorous in a way that Biden is not--Kerry is not shuffling off the stage at all; he is starting a new career as a dealmaker who will help lead the investors who will be sucking up the trillions of tax dollars a year that will be wasted on remaking the economy.

Kerry is willing to forgive Russia for its war in Ukraine, but first he must kick in some cash so those "bankable deals" that Kerry will be putting together will be even more profitable for his partners.

There's money to be made here, folks! Sure, the Ukraine war has cost about half a million lives on both sides of the war, but if Putin gets with the program, then all will be forgiven.

This is called a "Kinsley Gaffe," named after political commentator Michael Kinsley's observation that many "gaffes" are just politicians accidentally uttering what they actually believe in public.

Kerry is not very smart, but he is crafty. Long ago, he figured out how to use the system as a substitute for using his non-existent talents to climb the political and economic ladder. As with Al Gore, he saw climate change hysteria as a potential gold mine, and to be fair to him, this strategy has worked well.

Both Gore and Kerry hoped that climate change would vault them into the White House, and in neither case did this happen. But each came close, and their failure to grasp the brass ring didn't prevent them from collecting a lot of gold rings subsequently. Gore lives in his mansion that emits as much carbon as a small country, and Kerry flys the world in private jets to lecture the masses about how they must sacrifice to the carbon gods.

John Kerry is looking to get his piece of those trillions of dollars a year that he is trying to extort out of world governments, and if history is any guide, he will get his cut.
