Metaphorically, J.K. Rowling has been taking it on the chin for expressing her "gender-critical" views. She is the target of harassment; the actors who made their livings off her work have turned their back on her, and even librarians have called her work "unsafe."
The odd thing is, Rowling isn't criticizing transgenderism, as so many of her opponents assert; she is far less critical of the intellectual foundations of alphabet ideology than I.
She just thinks that trans-women are not the same as biological women, and that in some cases biological women deserve their own private spaces.
That is heresy.
Rowling hasn't backed down at all, and this weekend she shared a tweet that once again makes clear just why that is.

There is nothing benign about what alphabet ideology demands of women. As Riley Gaines has pointed out, young women are forced to share locker rooms with men whose twig and berries are hanging out there for all the world to see--and the women are forced to undress in front of said man.
This happens all the time, and the powers that be insist that any woman who has a problem with it needs reeducation. The "comfort" of the "transwoman" matters more than the comfort and safety of the biological women.
The Telegraph article Rowling shared discussed the horrifying reality that most "transgender" inmates in women's prisons are violent sex offenders who "discovered" their gender dysphoria conveniently after they were caught. Rapists, pedophiles, and all manner of sex offenders claim to have discovered their inner woman and are bunked with real women.

The women have no say in any of this. The presumed psychological comfort of sex offenders and murderers are given a higher priority than the safety and comfort of female inmates. The state is forcing women to cohabitate with violent men, and no amount of fear or discomfort seems to matter to the ideologues who run our society.
The Daily Signal has just dropped a horrifying story about a woman who was forced to bunk with a transwoman who constantly masturbated in "her" bunk. When she complained, she was threatened.
The man had raped his own daughter and now is in a women's prison. The state paid for his sex change surgery, and despite no longer being able to orgasm, he constantly plays with his "neovagina" as he is sexually aroused by it. She was so traumatized that she wound up in isolation in the psych ward and prefers it to bunking with a freak.
“They moved me to Monarch because they believe Campbell over me,” she said in the message, delivered to The Daily Signal on Feb. 19. “He told them I’m delusional cuz I said he was masturbating all the [time] which he was…and they told me if I refuse Monarch I’ll go to [segregation].”
“Anything is better than a cell with him,” she added. “He [asked] me when he first moved in if I have any friends cuz they’re gonna be curious if I [have] seen his vagina cuz it looks great and the surgeon did an amazing job and how its fresher than ours.”
McGraw expressed herself disgusted and “traumatized” with Campbell’s alleged proposition.
“I don’t wanna see nobody’s privates,” she wrote. “Yuckkkkk. Also he told me he don’t have a clit or can’t cum, I said I don’t care, I don’t wanna knowwwwww.”
The female prisoner is 31 years old, standing at only five feet and two inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds, prison records show. According to her fiancee, she was a victim of childhood sexual abuse by her father, who taught her to use drugs when she was a little girl “so that he could start abusing her.”
The indifference of our "betters" who are determined to prove their progressive bona fides to the alphabet mob has turned them into cruel abusers of women, including minors who have to share locker rooms and sports fields with big hulking men who want to dominate the weaker women around them.

This isn't compassion or understanding; it is ideological tyranny. We keep on being told that the authorities are making spaces safe for the oppressed, but what they are doing is oppressing the disfavored in support of groups they prefer. Girls can beg to be treated as worth consideration, and they get rebuffed because they are lower down the intersectional ladder than "transwomen."

It takes courage to fight back against the alphabet mob, and few of us can stand up to the cancel mobs. Until large numbers of people are willing to stand together to fight back, each individual dissenter can be isolated and destroyed.
A few of us can do so, and having somebody uncancelable like JK Rowling out there opens up a little space for dissenters.
But honestly, until more ordinary people stand up and say Enough!, this will continue.
