What Is the Point of Being a Cop Any More?

Every illegal immigrant comes to America for a better life.

For some, that means getting a job; for others, it means being free to commit crimes, get off scot-free, and then get a free ride out of the city to escape prosecution.

To recap, a gang of illegal immigrants who regularly commit felonies in New York City beat up two cops. They get arrested, only to be released back out onto the streets because that is how NYC rolls. They flip the bird to the media, walking away with smirks, confident they can do what they want without consequence.

Then a nonprofit loads them on a bus out of the city.

Welcome to Blue America.

Four of the migrants cut loose without bail after allegedly ganging up on two NYPD cops near Times Square may be on the run, The Post has learned.

Cops believe the group could have hopped on a bus bound for California on Wednesday after giving phony names to a church-affiliated nonprofit group that helps migrants get rides out of the city, according to law enforcement sources.

The four accused cop-attackers believed to have skipped town were charged with assault on a police officer and obstruction immediately after the shocking, caught-on-video attack Saturday in Midtown.

Darwin Andres Gomez, 19, Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19, Wilson Juarez, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24, were released without monetary bail by a Manhattan judge.

This is the same city where a Marine can protect the lives of countless civilians on a subway–people being menaced by a mentally ill man the city has enabled to roam free–and he will get prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Two factors stand out among others: the race of the perpetrators and the status of the victims.

Police officers represent the criminal justice system, which makes them oppressors. Daniel Penny, the Marine, is a White Male and his “victim” was Black and mentally ill.

The nature of the acts for which they were arrested doesn’t matter; where they stand on the intersectional oppression ladder does.

It’s hilarious, in a sick kind of way, that Governor Kathy Hochul is musing about deporting the illegal immigrants who beat up these police officers. It is her policies and those of Alvin Bragg that got us to this point, and it’s bizarre that deporting thugs with long lists of felonies and a disgusting contempt for the laws and norms of their “adopted land” are even given a moment’s consideration.

But alas, the perps are gone, not just because the city let them go, but because the city, state, and federal government are promoting easy, free, and unlimited travel within the US for illegal immigrants.

If you find it shocking that this is happening, you haven’t yet realized the level of contempt our Elite have for ordinary citizens. They simply don’t care that society is falling apart around us. We are plebs, and the Elite are doing just fine, thank you. They love the Biden economy and the fact that the middle class is being crushed. They don’t care about crime.

As long as they get elected–and Hochul and Bragg got elected just fine–what do they care?

Blue states are rich, but they are becoming hellholes–and there is a connection between the two. Rich people can insulate themselves from the chaos; middle-class people cannot, so the middle class is migrating to the Red States. Criminals only come there to spend their ill-gotten gains.

Cops are caught in the middle, and increasing numbers are following the middle class to greener pastures (or rather gator-filled swamps).
