UNRWA Fires Employees For Participating in 10/7 Attacks; UPDATE: MSM Covers It Finally!

(UNRWA)

If you have been reading the coverage of the Israel-Hamas war here at Hot Air, you already know that the United Nations Relief and Works Administration for Palestine (UNRWA) is a terrorist-sympathizing garbage institution. It’s schools teach children to hate, its teachers participate in the hostage-taking, and its medical facilities collaborate with Hamas.

It is the Mos Eisley on international institutions, filled with scum and villainy. This is why President Trump defunded them and equally why President Biden started shipping money their way again. Biden likes wallowing in the mud mixed with the blood of good people along with Iran and the UNRWA for some reason.

It must be his unerring instinct to do the wrong thing. Even senile he continues his unbroken string of horrible decisions.

The latest news about the UNRWA is that it has been forced to fire “several” UNRWA employees who have been proven to have participated in the atrocities of 10/7.

AMMAN,

“The Israeli Authorities have provided UNRWA with information about the alleged involvement of several UNRWA employees in the horrific attacks on Israel on 7 October.

“To protect the Agency’s ability to deliver humanitarian assistance, I have taken the decision to immediately terminate the contracts of these staff members and launch an investigation in order to establish the truth without delay. Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution.

“UNRWA reiterates its condemnation in the strongest possible terms of the abhorrent attacks of 7 October and calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all Israeli hostages and their safe return to their families.

“These shocking allegations come as more than 2 million people in Gaza depend on lifesaving assistance that the Agency has been providing since the war began. Anyone who betrays the fundamental values of the United Nations also betrays those whom we serve in Gaza, across the region and elsewhere around the world”.

Israel, apparently, had provided them with incontrovertible evidence of this, and the UNRWA had no choice but to fire them, but they managed to bury the news by releasing it simultaneously with the International Court of Justice’s decision that Israel must limit casualties in Gaza and implying that Israel may be committing genocide.

Ed has great coverage of the decision.

The decision came from a UN Court, and the UNRWA took this opportunity to bury the news that the United Nations itself was employing actual terrorists in Gaza. So one UN agency is helping bury the news about the perfidy of another.

Newsflash: the UN is not supposed to pay terrorists; it is supposed to prevent terrorism.

The leadership of the UNRWA is certainly aware that many of its employees are either terrorists themselves or terrorist sympathizers. It would be nearly impossible for them not to know, given that Hamas has run Gaza for nearly 2 decades and the UNRWA works closely with them.

The UNRWA has always been with the bad guys. Trump was the first president with the cajones to defund them entirely, and Biden was the idiot who turned the money spigot back on, funding both the near-constant rocket attacks on Israel and the terrorism we have seen over the past few months.

Iran. Hamas. UNRWA. Why is Biden funding them, especially now that Iran has stepped up a proxy war against the US?

UPDATE: The MSM is finally in on the story of the UNRWA. Apparently it was 12 employees, and the US has “temporarily” suspended funding the agency.

In the wake of the allegations against UNRWA, the US State Department announced it had “temporarily paused additional funding” to the agency. Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to “emphasize the necessity of a thorough and swift investigation of this matter,” State Department spokesperson Matt Miller said in a statement on Friday.

The US has contacted the Israeli government for more details on the allegations, added Miller. They have also briefed member of Congress.

CNN has reached out to UNRWA and the Israeli authorities about the information Israel provided UNRWA and the nature of the alleged involvement of the UNRWA employees.
