A Man in a Wig Who Calls Himself a Proud Lesbian Runs for Parliament

Let’s face it. The Tories kind of suck eggs. Suella Braverman shows promise, although it is hard to say whether she is sincere or just putting distance between herself and the establishment types.

But as disappointing as the Tories are in Great Britain, their opponents are a total s**t show.

I admit it is no surprise that the Green Party would put up a total wanker for office; that is sort of their brand and they are playing to type with Melissa Poulton, a transgender “woman” who decided last year that “she” was actually a woman after decades as a male wanker.

Conservative MP Rachel Maclean caused something of a stir when she described her opponent as a “man who wears a wig and calls himself a ‘proud lesbian.'”

MP Rachel Maclean shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, that described transgender woman Melissa Poulton as “a man who wears a wig and calls himself a ‘proud lesbian’.”

In sharing it, Mrs Maclean also added a comment of her own, backing the writer.

Bromsgrove Green party candidate Miss Poulton described it as “gaslighting”.

In sharing the post, Mrs Maclean commented: “While the Greens don’t know what a woman is, my Worcestershire neighbours the people of Bromsgrove certainly do.”

It’s pretty hard to disagree with the comment from Mrs. Maclean about Mr. Poulton, but we should admit that the Greens were unlikely to put forward their best and brightest to take on the Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party. In light of that fact, it would be unkind to spend much time making fun of Mr. Poulton.

But Labour? We can make fun of them, and the Party is outraged–outraged I say!–by this vile transphobic slander of Poulton.

Did I say outraged?

In a statement to the BBC, Mrs Maclean said: “Everyone in the UK should be free to live their lives and fulfil their potential regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity and to have the confidence and the freedom to be themselves.”

But Joe Baker, Labour group leader at Redditch Borough Council, said he believed “the recent repost and share on X” were “absolutely vile and hateful” and Mrs Maclean now needed “to question her position”.

“People who hold positions of authority should be looking after those they are in a position to serve,” he said.

“I understand that the situation is sensitive and I believe everyone has a right to their opinions, but when that opinion promotes hate and harm then this needs to be challenged.”

Were Poulton just some deranged schlub on the street it would be unkind to point out that he is a whackadoodle; as it is a major party in an important country has put this person up for elective office in Parliament. If Poulton endures criticism for being a whackadoodled it is on the Green Party for putting him up instead of handing him some green to go get some counseling and/or a better wig.

As for Labour? How can any of these people be taken seriously? Britain has nukes, for God’s sake.

I can’t believe that these people have any say at all in running a modern Western country.
