Joe Biden is a happy man.

Maybe it’s just anticipation of an afternoon where he eats ice cream and sniff’s a girl’s hair, but it is striking that the biggest smile I have ever seen on his face came after being asked about the indictment of Donald Trump.

Now we all know that Democrat politicians and many in the MSM are over the moon about the indictment of Donald Trump. However, many Left-wing legal scholars and commentators are disturbed that Bragg brought the indictment on such weak charges.

But you would have thought that a sitting president would have adopted a “more in sorrow than in anger” appearance to what even the densest politico knows is a very divisive and dangerous move by the New York prosecutor. Nobody with the least legal knowledge believes that this is a strong case.

But the case isn’t legal anyway. It is political. And if Bragg can get a conviction, even if it is overturned on appeal, it will be a huge political triumph for the Democrats even if it splits the country apart. Perhaps especially if it does.

Biden can’t contain himself. He laughs and spits in our faces. And that is what he is doing, and he is loving it.

As one of our most corrupt presidents, he basks in the glow of a media propaganda machine that is determined to praise and protect him, secure in the knowledge that he is himself untouchable. As is his family. His own son videotaped himself committing felonies, implicated ol’ Joe in many more, and the media has performed their duty to protect him and his from any consequences.

That same media has spent 7 years on a quest to destroy Donald Trump politically, and have made it clear that nothing will get in their way. They in fact want divisiveness because they believe it helps them, and the objective evidence is that they are right. There are enough never-Trump Americans to ensure he cannot win the presidency and enough always-Trump Republicans to, perhaps, deliver him the nomination.

Biden isn’t just laughing at Trump. He is laughing at all of us. He wants us infuriated, and he is succeeding.

The trial over these charges will take place during the height of the primary season, and that is all that matters. It solidifies Trump as a champion for his supporters and damages him with everybody else.

The health of the country be damned. Joe believes he will win the next election despite almost nobody thinking he is a competent president. Even Democrats don’t want him to run, but what can they do? Especially if he looks like a winner.

In a serious country, a sitting president would not be thrilled that a political opponent got indicted on ticky-tac charges that in a fair court wouldn’t stand up. But America in 2023 is not a serious country.

And Joe Biden certainly is not a serious president.
