Joe Biden is a fabulist. We all know this. And by now it should fail to surprise.

Yet it continues to do so, perhaps because his lies are so transparent, and the MSM so willing to spread them.

In an interview with The Daily Show’s Kal Penn (who?) Biden dropped some whoppers, but the most striking of them was his utterly ridiculous claim that he had an epiphany about same-sex marriage as a senior in High School.

Uh, yeah. Right. His dad apparently supported gay marriage too, in 1960, and explained that love is love to Joe.

Penn–who is gay–just sat there across from a man who voted for the Defense of Marriage Act and admired him for his lifelong record of compassion.

We are actually supposed to take this tale seriously?

Politicians lie all the time, of course, but there is something special about Joe Biden’s relationship to the truth, or his lack of one. If George Washington could not tell a lie, Joe Biden cannot tell a truth.

Biden is a modern-day Walter Mitty. Biden is, at best, a man of ordinary intelligence, supremely bad judgment, and questionable moral character.

Yet we are led to believe by the commentariat that he is a towering figure of moral strength, sound judgment, and extraordinary success as president.

I have to admit I find it infuriating.

Not Biden’s lies. Biden exposed himself as a liar and fabulist back in the 1980s, and his inability to make the right choices in policy became evident then as well.

What infuriates me is the Establishment’s determination to promote the idea that Joe Biden is a great man and a great leader. NPR, for instance, spoke with historian Doris Kearns Goodwin discussing whether Biden would create a new New Deal or a Great Society.

Uh-huh. Biden can barely remember what he had for breakfast.

When Biden tells ridiculous whoppers, caresses and sniffs unwilling women and little girls, and wanders around listlessly on stage, we are supposed to find that charming, not worrisome.

It is the liars who prop Joe up who infuriate me. These people foisted this small man into a big job, and the country is suffering grievously from their arrogance.

Millions of people still (claim to?) believe the fantasy that Biden is anything but a demented fool who has barely aspired to competence and never attained it in any job he has ever had. He is corrupt, incompetent, and incapable of discerning between reality and fantasy.

That has always been the case. Every day he has been in office he has made the world a less safe, less prosperous, and less just place. Ask Afghani women. Ask the women of Iran. Ask the parents labeled as domestic terrorists by the FBI.

Where, outside of the tiny slice of the media that is openly conservative, are the people pointing out that this emperor has no clothes? Does nobody have any shame?

Apparently not.
