Nimrods against Nimrata

The anti-Nikki Haley idiocy has begun, and the attacks are racist, because of course they are. We are talking (mainly) about liberals doing their thing.

I have written a lot recently about liberal racism, including my recent VIP post on the subject. There is no political group in America more likely to let their racist freak flags fly than liberals pretending to be “inclusive.” Inclusiveness for them is toeing the Leftist line, not having anything to do with embracing real differences between people.

The line of attack is simple and nearly universal among prominent Lefties: Nikki Haley is trying to “pass” as White because Republicans are too racist to actually elect somebody whose skin contains too much melanin.

It’s a deeply deceptive line of attack because Nikki is actually one of her names It happens to be her middle name and the one by which she has been known all her life, including by her family. It is even a common Hindi name, and clearly a diminutive. It certainly is more familiar sounding and rolls off the tongue more easily than Nimrata, her first name, but is hardly a betrayal of her heritage.

It isn’t anything like, say, Bill de Blasio changing his name from Warren Wilhelm Jr., which clearly is all about changing his identity. In fact, he changed his name twice, so it’s not exactly like the Democrats have some aversion to politicians who change their name or even ethnicity (Elizabeth Warren, anyone?).

The line of attack is “justified” by the claim that it isn’t about her, but her rejection of the idea that America is a fundamentally racist country. Haley has led with that line of attack against the Leftist assertion that America is, actually, a deeply racist country and needs to be fundamentally reformed.

Haley uses her personal experience as a refutation of that idea–she is actually leaning into, not away from, her South Asian roots. She was the first South Asian female governor, and in a state that used to be known as among the most racially divided states in the nation. She signed the bill that removed the Confederate flag from the state flagpole at the South Carolina capitol.

All of this is to say that Nikki Haley is doing anything but hiding her racial heritage. She even includes a photograph of her family in traditional Indian dress.

Notice how the Left is also using her maiden name to emphasize her “otherness?” Haley is her married name, not some made-up name as many politicians seek to sound more appealing.

In short, their line of attack amounts to: Nikki Haley isn’t using her real name in order to hide the heritage that she emphasizes all the time, even though Nikki Haley actually is her real name, just not the version of it that emphasizes her racial heritage.

It’s not meant to be convincing, because it can’t possibly be so. It is meant to be a racist line of attack to alienate her from Americans who are deeply racist.

Ironically, it is a useless line of attack, because Americans on the whole aren’t racist. She got elected twice in South Carolina and represented the entire United States of America as Ambassador to the United Nations. Not sure how you can get much more affirmed by the country and the supposedly racist southerners than that.

To be fair, one of Trump’s allies–Laura Loomer–has chosen to follow the Left in this line of attack. Although I am unclear as to whether she is emphasizing Haley’s racial background or her use of the middle name. Loomer used the “middle names are fake” line of attack on Casey DeSantis as well, so she is clearly suffering from some sort of middle name obsession.

So Loomer’s line of attack is probably just an example of her being loony.

Liberals apparently believe–with reason, I suppose–that they can be as racist as they like because they are the good guys, and they are only obviously racist when attacking conservatives. They do the same thing with homosexuality, hurling slurs at gay Republicans with abandon because they can do so without consequence.

It’s a form of obvious contempt for minorities. They pretend to care about equity, but the fact is that they simply believe that they own the votes of minorities and feel cheated when said minorities leave their political plantation. The racist slurs are a form of retribution.

Bonus round of misogyny:
