Students For Life fight Roe v Wade

Thirty-five years ago today, the Supreme Court handed down its decision in the landmark Roe v Wade case, taking abortion law out of the hands of the citizens and placing it in the hands of the judiciary. The justices may have believed they were resolving the issue, but their fiat sparked a political war over abortion that has only gotten more divisive as time has passed.

Students For Life of America, an activist group dedicated to nationwide work on both ends of the life questions, issues and debates, just wrapped up its annual conference. An enterprising Hot Air field agent got video of Becky Banks, SFLA’s Program Coordinator, talking about the conference, its allies who produced the hit film Bella, and her favorite website. Our resident deity will be pleased.
