I believe Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. He had ample reason to do so because he knew his life as a playboy billionaire was over and the life of an inmate surrounded by violent criminals didn’t suit him. That said, the fact that Epstein probably had the potential to roll over on some very wealthy and powerful people who either joined in on or supported his lifestyle over the years means there are probably quite a few people who breathed a sigh of relief when he died. Some of those people may have even wished him dead beforehand.
So I’ll admit that there were people who had a motive to want Epstein dead and who had tremendous means at their disposal to, in theory, pursue that motive. But given that Epstein was in prison it seems obvious that no one should have had the opportunity to act. After all, there are guards and cameras in a prison so it’s not like you can just waltz in and do away with someone without being detected. Right?
Prosecutors revealed in court Wednesday they could not locate the footage from outside of Epstein’s cell on July 23 — the day of his first reported suicide attempt at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in NYC. That was 2 weeks before he successfully killed himself … according to the Medical Examiner’s report.
The feds had no explanation for why the footage has gone missing — they said they simply can’t find it.
There was initially some question about whether the first incident was a suicide attempt or if Epstein had been assaulted by someone else, possibly his cellmate. Epstein’s cellmate at the time was a dirty cop accused of involvement in the killings of four men over a drug debt. After the accusations went public, the cellmate’s attorney claimed it was a lie leaked to the media to punish his client:
“Any suggestion that Mr. Tartaglione assaulted anyone is a complete fabrication,” the lawyer, Bruce Barket, said in a statement. “This story is being leaked to retaliate against Mr. Tartaglione for complaining to the court about the deplorable conditions at the MCC. We made those complaints on Monday in open court. We warned the judge that officials at the jail would retaliate against Nick because we have been exposing the inhumane conditions at the facility.”…
Barket told NBC that Tartaglione and Epstein get along well. He said the two men have been complaining about rodents, flooding, and food in the jail.
Anyway, it’s not like Tartaglione could have received messages to take out Epstein in prison. Right?
An illicit cellphone was confiscated from former Briarcliff cop Nicholas Tartaglione while he was in federal custody awaiting trial in the killing of four men in Orange County, according to court records.
Correction officers took the phone from Tartaglione on July 3 in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Facility in lower Manhattan.
Okay, but come on let’s not get carried away. It’s not like the cellmate had strangled anyone to death before. Right?

Again, I’m not a believer in any Epstein conspiracy theories but the missing video really does look suspicious and doesn’t help those of us arguing this is a simple case of suicide.
