It’s the final weekend of the year and writers across the spectrum are busy generating their best of and worst of lists to somehow encapsulate the craziness of 2018. I was preparing to do one of those myself, and then I thought, why do the same thing as everyone else? We should go the meta route and expand on the concept a bit. With that in mind, after doing a bit of browsing last night, I dredged up a list of other people’s eclectic lists for your holiday break enjoyment. In no particular order, here we go.
Lots of politicians make predictions every January. Here are some of the people who did the worst, from Politico
Could there really be such a thing as the worst of fake news? Buzzfeed thinks so.
This one is a little bit off the beaten path. It’s HuffPo’s list of the people in media with the “thinnest skins”
You can always count on Ace of Spades HQ. Here are the worst (or is it best?) CNN Chyrons of 2018.
I know nothing about fashion, but I can tell when something is ugly. Check out Mashable’s worst “fashion” trends of the year.
The worst tech failures of 2018 from ZDNet. (You probably experienced a few of these)
I decided against the list of worst holiday drinks. It just seems so prejudicial. Personally, I’ll get through the end of 2018 with a bottle of champagne and a martini, but you all do it however it works best for you. I don’t want to judge anyone else’s liquor choices.
