One of the best traditions in the blogosphere returns today — the effort to raise money to provide adaptive-technology computers for seriously wounded veterans in order to help them reach their full potential. Project Valour-IT, a campaign by the tremendous group Soldiers Angels, gives bloggers an opportunity to have fun and compete on behalf of the various service branches. I’ve been on Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force teams in the past, and all of them had one thing in common — they didn’t win. This year I’ve rejoined the Air Force team. Will the Ed Jinx continue?
But it doesn’t matter which teams gets the bragging rights (I say to myself every year); what matters is how we all pull together to help those who lost so much in defending our nation. I’ll have the widget in all of my show posts this week, and will give regular updates on the standings as we go. Please contribute what you can, through the Air Force widget here at Hot Air or in support of your favorite service branch at the Project Valour-IT home page.
