Confirmed: Magic is real

Coincidentally, that’s the same thought I have every time I read one of Trump’s tweets. “Confirmed: Magic is real.”

I never thought I’d have it about an actual magic trick.

To cleanse the palate, via Gizmodo, watch this and tell me I’m wrong. This warlock sonofabitch is Eric Chien, performing the routine that won him the grand prize at the World Championship of Magic. Which truly is a world championship, by the way, with participants from many countries. And it’s only held every third year. The competition is ferocious.

And yet there’s really no competition. How could this be topped?

Watching all the red cards flip to blue ones gave me midterm flashbacks, though. Trigger warning.
