Trump gave the only appropriate comment to Kanye’s monologue anyway, in perfect Ron-Burgundy-ese: “I tell you what, that was pretty impressive. That was quite something.”

It was. Especially the part where he suggested replacing Air Force One with some sort of hydrogen-fueled plane whose design he just happened to have on his phone. And which he insisted on showing to Trump in the middle of their photo op.
Not sure how I feel about having a ranting, semi-lucid celebrity in the Oval Office. Not sure how I feel about having Kanye there either. Exit question: Maybe it’ll pay off?
