It’s hard to win with a goof like this due to the contradiction of insisting at great length how little something matters, like a troll writing a thousand-word comment about how deeply he doesn’t care about your opinion. But Trump fans like retaliation against their culture enemies. This is a form of that.

In the end, it’s a GOTV ad for Republicans. They can use that right now: The latest CNN national poll has Clinton up five in the four-way race while the new one from CBS News has her up four. Nothing fatal about either of those margins, but they’re on the cusp of being fatal with so little time left to Election Day. Trump can’t afford another weak debate on Sunday. If her lead opens up further next week, that may be unrecoverable.
