Another week of war news means another Sunday chock full of the same-old-same-old congressional natsec guests you haven’t wanted to watch in years. Dianne Feinstein, Peter King, Mike Rogers, Adam Schiff — just keep turning the dial this morning and you’ll find all of them. The one non-regular featured is UN ambassador Samantha Power, who’ll explain on “This Week” why our new Iraq adventure will be way better than our old Iraq adventure. For starters, there are no U.S. boots on the ground — except for those thousand troops Obama has already sent, with the Pentagon already warning him that more will be needed to win the war. Er, I mean the “counterterrorism operation.”
If that doesn’t grab you, Tony Blair will be on “State of the Union” to discuss the Scottish independence referendum (and Iraq, of course). The full line-up is at the AP.
